Description

Description

based on the Auc-Util-Glypher I created a Jewelcrafter tool called Auc-Util-Jeweler or for short Jeweler. With Jeweler a jewelcrafter can create a list of profitable gems to cut. The Jeweler is using the beancounters selling information together with the materials pricing setup to determine which and how many gems to cut.

Features

  • uses auctioneer and beancounter information;
  • the mats cost can be setup individually or using beancounter bidding and buyout information;
  • by activating or deactivating mats you can determine which gems to cut;
  • full integrated into the auctioneer. Use the auctioneer slide-bar and configuration screens;
  • supports Skillet (lilsparky's version), ATSW, Tradeskill Master and GnomeWorks TradeSkill Frame;

How to setup

  • Open the Jeweler utility;
  • minimum profit, that is the profit jeweler uses to compile of the production list;
  • the next 6 sliders are the same slider as in the glypher module of auctioneer;
  • Price of uncut gems is not use (will be removed in future versions);
  • Gems Valuation Methods is also not used, Jeweler is using minimum BO prices (will be removed in future versions);
  • Misc. Options, these settings will allow you to clear the production list in the trade skill tool and to switch on the toolbar debug information;
  • DataStore configuration will allow you to use a banker, guild and producer to build, store and sell gems. Datastore have to be installed seperately (highly recomended;
  • the "use historical data" check box is about the use of BC and AH data for calculating mats; if unchecked the fix mats prices are used;
  • the next lines in the setup is about the use of materials; each line consists out of a check box description and the price; the check box is to activate or deactivate the use of that raw gem; the description will show you the name and bean counter information (if known); the price is the fixed price of the raw gem;

How jeweler calculates the list

  • checks if the gem is allowed to be cut, it uses the activated raw gem list;
  • calculates the number of cut gems you need to create;
  • if the "use historical data" check box is checked then the engine will calculate how many raw gems you need and for how much you bought your raw gems in stock (average BC price); if you don't have not enough raw gems in you bags or alts bags, it will check the AH buyout prices as if you bought them; if the checkbox is not set, it will use the fixed raw gem prices;
  • use the ram gem price list(s) and the "wanted" profit to select which gems are profitable to cut;

How to use it

  • open the jeweler utility;
  • set it up, needed only once except the mats costs;
  • press the "scan gems" button, this checks the auction for the current raw and cut gems pricing information;
  • press the "get profitable" button, this compiles a list of profitable gems, Jewelcrafting needed to use this;
  • press the "Add to Tradeskill" button, this added the list to the support tradeskill addons;

Planned features

  • clean code;
  • clean debug information;
  • support of apm and apm queue list;

Notes

  • For feedback, support, suggestions and bug reports, feel free to post a ticket.
