Description
Assignment Macro Manager is a macro editor built for the busy raid leader.
Raid leading often means updating assignment sheets over and over. Who heals the tank, who kites strider, who passes the cores. This editor knows your roster, and it can send out the assignments without the macro ever touching your action bars.
Drag-and-drop names and marks into the macro text
A list of everyone in your raid sits on the side of the editor, sorted by role. Names are class coloured and carry the group's role icons.
- Drag a name onto the macro body and it lands where you release the mouse, not at the end of the text
- Drag onto a word and that word highlights as you hover, then gets replaced when you drop
- Click a name instead of dragging and it goes in at the cursor
- The eight raid markers sit under the names. Drag Skull onto a word and it becomes
{skull}, which chat turns back into the marker when the line is sent - The list follows the group, so anyone invited mid-write appears
Send the macro from the editor
Announce reads the macro on screen, finds every chat command in it, and sends them one by one. It handles /say, /yell, /party, /raid and /rw, plus their short forms. Anything else in the macro is ignored, so a macro that mixes a cast with a raid warning announces cleanly and casts nothing.
No keybind, no action bar slot, no dragging the macro anywhere.

This is a fork of MacroManager by Grrumpy, which provides the tree, the editor form and the character snapshots. The fork exists because MacroManager is a general purpose macro editor and this one is aimed squarely at raid assignments.
