Asmute

Asmute hides chat from members of the Olympus guilds, and from anyone who mentions Asmongold. It works on your screen only: nothing is added to your ignore list, nobody is told, and nobody else's game is affected.

What it hides

• Every Olympus guild. Any guild with "Olympus" in its name is muted, including misspellings (OLYMPVS, Olimpus, HOELYMPUS, 0lympus…). Guilds named against it ("Anti Olympus", "Olympus Haters") and other words (Olympia, Olympic) are left alone. Your own guilds are never muted.
• Anyone who mentions Asmongold. Say a word starting with "asmon" (Asmongold, asmons, a5m0n, @smon…) and that message is hidden and the sender is blocked from then on. Add your own words with /gmute word add <word>.
• It covers say, yell, emotes, whispers, general and trade channels, party, raid and battleground chat. Guild and officer chat are never touched.

How it finds players

Chat messages don't say which guild the sender is in, so Asmute learns guilds from the players you see: nameplates, mouseover, targets, your group, and /who. Everything it learns is saved and shared by all your characters.

To find more players, make a macro and bind it to Tab:

Each press out of combat sends the next /who search of a sweep through every Olympus guild (at most one every 5 seconds). The game only allows /who from a key press, so it never runs on its own.

If the Olympus addon is also installed and you're in an Olympus guild, Asmute copies its census (every guild's name and size) to plan the sweep.
