Description
# ArenaLabs
**Records every rated arena you play and breaks the history down by comp, by the specific players you queued with, by map, by bracket and by rating.**
ArenaLabs writes a record of each match the moment the end-of-match scoreboard
appears, then lets you ask questions of that history from inside the game. It
works for every class and specialization — nothing is hardcoded to one spec.
---
## What it does
**Overview** — your season record, win rate and current rating are read live from
the game itself, so they are correct even for games played before you installed
this. Average DPS, average HPS and deaths come from the matches ArenaLabs watched.
When you are in a party of two or three it also shows how you perform *as that
comp* and *as that exact team*, side by side, along with the enemy comps that
particular group struggles against.
**Matches** — full history, newest first, with both team comps, the map, duration,
rating change and your team's matchmaking value. Click any match for the full
scoreboard: every player's damage, healing, killing blows, deaths, rating and MMR.
Click a player's name to copy their full `Character-Realm` for a whisper or invite.
**Enemy comps** — win rate, win/loss record and average DPS against every comp you
have faced. Click one to see which of your own comps beat it, and on which maps.
**Your comps** — the same, grouped by what you brought. Click one to see who you
met with it and where.
**Maps** — per-arena breakdown. Click one for the comps you have met there.
**My teams** — the same history grouped by the *players* you queued with rather
than by specialization. Two different Balance Druids are two different teams, and
this separates them. Star the teams you play with regularly to pin them to the
top.
**Rating thresholds** — every comp and team table can be limited to games played
at 1800+, 2100+ or 2400+ matchmaking value, so a comp you beat at low rating does
not flatter your numbers at high rating.
**Solo Shuffle** — filed as one entry per round, each with its own three-player
split, its own damage and its own result, because the six players are reshuffled
between rounds and a single record for all six hides what actually happened.
---
## In the arena, not just afterwards
**Scouting overlay** — while you are stood behind the gates, ArenaLabs reads the
enemy specialisations and shows your record against that exact comp, your average
damage against it, how often you died, and your record on that particular map. It
disappears the moment the doors open. Drag it where you want it.
**Player tooltips** — hover anyone you have played before and their tooltip gains
your history with them: how many games, your record against them, your record
alongside them, and the rating and matchmaking value they were last seen at. That
comes from your own recorded matches, so there is nothing to download and nothing
to go stale.
**Shared diminishing returns** — when you are grouped, the overview lists the DR
categories more than one of you can contribute to, so you can see at a glance that
your comp has three stuns landing on the same diminishing return and only one
disorient between you.
---
Every table sorts by games, record, win rate, average DPS or deaths. Rows are
tinted by win rate so a bad matchup is visible without reading the numbers.
A match is recorded when the end-of-match scoreboard appears, so stay until it
shows — leaving the instance early means there are no numbers to read.

## Commands
/alabs open the window (or click the minimap button)
/alabs help list every command
/alabs scope switch between this character and season, or everything
/alabs scout the gate overlay on or off
/alabs tooltip player tooltips on or off
/alabs art arena artwork on or off
/alabs cleanup remove empty records left by earlier versions
/alabs claim assign records saved before character names were stored
/alabs debug print what the PvP APIs are returning
Everything toggleable is also behind the gear button in the top right of the
window, so none of this has to be remembered.

## Storage
All data is stored locally in your own SavedVariables file and never leaves your
computer. Nothing is uploaded, and the addon makes no network requests. History
persists across sessions and seasons until you choose to clear it.
