ArcUI v3.6.0 Changelog
New Features
- Universal Group Layouts — save your full group layout as a named layout and share it across all your characters. Link any profile to a layout and changes apply everywhere automatically. Manage layouts from the Group Layouts section in Account Sharing. Unlinking a profile gives it its own independent snapshot.
- Character Migration — if you renamed or realm-transferred a character, use the new Migration tab to move all of your ArcUI data to the new name in one step. Everything transfers — groups, profiles, group layouts, bars, and Arc Auras. Works for name changes, realm transfers, or both at once.
- Groups: Anchor to cursor — any group can now follow your mouse cursor. Set an offset in the group's anchor settings to keep it exactly where you want it relative to your pointer.
- Custom stack bars: new controls — generators can now require a hostile, living target before counting a cast, preventing phantom stacks from casts that miss or land on a friendly. Spenders also support suppressors — conditions that pause consumption while active. Three suppressor types are available: Spell Cast (blocks for a set duration after a cast), Aura Active (blocks while a buff is up), and Aura Missing (blocks while a buff is absent).
- Arc Auras: Dim When Out of Stock — item and trinket frames can now dim when the item is not in your bags, using the same alpha and desaturation as the On Cooldown state. Disabled by default. Desaturation always applies when the item is missing regardless of this setting.
- Arc Auras: "Dim When Out of Stock" moved to On Cooldown State — the toggle is now in the On Cooldown State section alongside Wait For No Charges, where it belongs.
- Custom bars: "Spell Cast (Sent)" trigger — bars can now trigger at the moment a cast begins rather than on completion. Useful for spells where the completion event carries a different or ambiguous ID.
Bug Fixes
- Dynamic group icons misaligned with even icon counts — groups with an even number of icons could show uneven spacing on certain resolutions. Fixed.
- Duration text reappearing on hidden groups — cooldown timer text could silently reappear on icons inside a hidden group. Fixed.
- Proc glow blinking off when Frostfire Empowerment expires — the glow on Glacial Spike could briefly cut out when Frostfire Empowerment fell off. Fixed.
- Anchored groups snapping to wrong position on grid size change — anchored groups would jump to a stale position when rows, columns, or icon size were adjusted. Fixed.
- Anchored groups jumping when icons are added or removed — adding or removing icons from an anchored group could cause it to snap to a wrong position. Fixed.
- Cooldown bar texture resetting on group resize — adjusting rows, columns, or icon size would reset the cooldown bar texture to the default. Fixed.
- Stack bar double-counting on AoE casts — certain spells could grant extra stacks when hitting multiple targets. Fixed.
- Charge bar aligning to group border instead of icon area — with Match Size enabled, the bar aligned to the outer border instead of the icon slot. Fixed.
- Charge bar texture resetting on group resize — with Match Size enabled, the bar texture reverted to default each time the group changed size. Fixed.
- Disabling class sync not affecting other characters — turning off sync on one character left it active on all others of the same class. Disabling now clears it for everyone and removes the shared reference.
- Group positions bleeding into new characters — new characters could inherit wrong group positions from another spec's data on first login. Group positions now always reset to defaults on inheritance.
- Proc glow freezing after an icon reset — the proc glow could stop animating if the icon was momentarily reset and would not recover on its own. Fixed.
- Aura Missing glow preview not working on cooldown icons — the preview button had no effect when Glow When Missing was enabled on a cooldown icon. Fixed.
- Spell Usability glow missing offset options — X and Y offset sliders were missing from the Spell Usability glow section. Added for all glow types.
- Healthstone not showing remaining charges — the Healthstone stack display now correctly shows how many charges you have left.
- Button glow not responding to offset adjustments — X and Y offset had no effect when using the button glow style. Fixed.
Improvements
- Slot spacing supports negative values — set a negative slot spacing (down to -5) to overlap charge slots into a thin divider line effect.
- Match Width range expanded — the per-bar width offset now supports a wider range (±200).
- Class sync: Detach toggle — opt a single character out of class sync without disabling it for the whole class. Detached characters appear in orange in the synced list. Re-attaching pulls the latest data immediately.
- Class sync: Delete clears all characters — Delete now disables sync across all characters of that class and removes the shared reference, matching the behaviour of the disable toggle.
- Master Export: realm name on character headers — character sections in Master Export now show the realm name alongside the character name.
- Options panel remembers position and size — the ArcUI options panel now saves its position and size across reloads and sessions.
