New Features

  • Added 11 new "Hide When..." conditions for icon groups — expanded from 3 options to 15 total. New conditions:
    • In Vehicle / Taxi: Hides when riding a vehicle or flight path
    • Dead / Ghost: Hides when dead or running back as a ghost
    • Resting (City/Inn): Hides when in a rest area
    • Solo (Not in Group): Hides when not in any group — great for raid-only groups
    • In Group: Hides when in a party or raid
    • In Raid: Hides when specifically in a raid
    • In Instance: Hides when inside a dungeon, raid, arena, or battleground
    • Boss Encounter: Hides during active boss fights
    • In Pet Battle: Hides during pet battles
    • PvP Flagged: Hides when flagged for PvP
    • Skyriding: Hides while skyriding
  • All conditions update instantly on zone changes, loading screens, and state transitions — no delay or manual reload needed
  • Multiple conditions can be combined (e.g. hide when mounted AND out of combat)
  • Added Glow Strata dropdown to both Aura Active and Cooldown Ready glow sections — allows overriding the glow's frame strata (Inherit/MEDIUM/HIGH/DIALOG) without affecting the parent icon's strata
  • Added Glow Frame Level input to both Aura Active and Cooldown Ready glow sections — allows setting an exact frame level for the glow, works with both inherited and custom strata
  • Added Cancel Method for unlimited timer bars — toggle spells like Burning Rush that don't fire UNIT_SPELLCAST_SUCCEEDED on deactivation can now be properly cancelled. New "Cancel When" dropdown appears when Unlimited is enabled with five options:
    • Same Spell Cast: Re-casting the trigger spell toggles the bar off (existing default behavior)
    • Aura Lost: Bar cancels when a specific buff is removed — best for toggle spells (Burning Rush, Aspect of the Cheetah, etc.)
    • Aura Gained: Bar cancels when a specific buff is applied
    • Spell Glow Hide: Bar cancels when the spell's action bar overlay glow disappears
    • Different Spell Cast: Bar cancels when a different specified spell is successfully cast
  • Added optional Cancel Spell ID input for cancel methods that need a different spell than the trigger (defaults to trigger spell ID if left empty)
  • Added Aura Active glow options to Cooldown Icons tab — cooldown frames that show aura durations (e.g. buffs triggered by a spell) can now have active alpha, glow when active, with full glow customization (style, color, intensity, threshold, combat-only, strata). Options appear in the "Aura Active State" section when "Ignore Aura Override" is off. Glow properly tracks aura presence on cooldown frames using event-driven updates
  • Added Always Show toggle for Custom Cooldown Frames — bypasses the "spell known" check so engineering enchants (Nitro Boosts), profession abilities, and other non-class spells stay visible. Available in the Arc Auras options panel and via right-click context menu. Spec filters and talent conditions still apply when set
  • Added Icon Override for all Custom Cooldown Frames — change the displayed icon on any tracked spell or item by entering a different Spell ID or Item ID. Useful for showing the ability icon instead of the item icon (e.g. Nitro Boosts spell icon on your belt enchant). Available in Arc Auras options and via right-click "Change Icon..." menu. Enter 0 to reset

Improvements

  • Upgraded Smooth Fill animation to a snappier ease-out curve — bar fills now feel more responsive (fast start, smooth deceleration) instead of basic linear interpolation. Applies to all stack bar display modes and duration bars, controlled by the existing Smooth Fill toggle
  • Smooth Fill toggle is now available for Aura Duration bars — previously only shown for stack bars
  • Custom Cooldown Frame catalog now shows an F badge for Always Show frames and displays custom icon source ID in tooltips
  • Updated catalog legend to include the new F = Always Show indicator
  • Talent Picker visual overhaul — now uses Blizzard-style spec backgrounds, class-colored headers and borders, and hero tree backplate matching the in-game talent UI
  • Talented vs untalented states in the picker — talents with points show full brightness with a glow ring, untalented nodes appear dimmed and desaturated
  • Improved talent tooltips — now show the spell description alongside condition and choice node info

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed Totem, Pet, and Ground Effect bars sometimes not detecting active/inactive state correctly — these bars now reliably show when active and hide when expired
  • Fixed totem/pet bars leaving ghost frames visible (empty backgrounds, text, icons) after the totem or pet expired — all elements now hide immediately
  • Fixed Custom Cooldown Frames ignoring talent conditions and spec filters on UI reload — frames that should have been hidden were showing at login and corrupting saved positions
  • Fixed Active Glow rendering above duration text on aura frames — text now draws above glows
  • Fixed Custom Cooldown Frames with Always Show not surviving the fallback spec-change restoration path — forceShow frames now restore correctly in all reload scenarios
  • Fixed buff icons overlapping or disappearing in Dynamic Layout groups when multiple buffs proc at the same time — icons now always get their own slot correctly
  • Fixed Aura Missing Alpha and Aura Active settings not applying after reload, spec change, or closing the options panel — icons could get stuck at full opacity or wrong desaturation until the panel was reopened. Visual state (alpha, desaturation, tint, glow) now force-refreshes on every panel close, reload, and spec change
  • Fixed Spell Usability tinting and Range Indicator incorrectly applying to aura/buff frames — these features now only apply to cooldown and utility frames where they belong. Removed the Range Indicator and Spell Usability option sections from the Aura Icons tab
  • Fixed choice node talents showing the wrong icon and name in the Talent Picker — some talents were displaying as a different talent when the overriding talent was active
  • Fixed aura icon opacity snapping to full visible after talent changes — icons with "Aura Missing" alpha set to hidden would briefly flash visible then stay stuck until the options panel was opened
