Description
Ask anyone how to do more damage and the number one answer is always the same: always be casting. ABC takes that advice and builds it into the game.
You get live feedback on every moment you weren't casting, and a timeline built for reviewing your own footage. See where you're leaking DPS more easily than ever.
What you get
- Cast timeline. Your casts scroll by on a real time axis, so the gaps between them are visible. Off-GCD casts (trinkets, racials, defensives) sit on their own row.
- Activity lane. A strip under the timeline: blue while you're busy, red the moment your GCD is ready and you aren't pressing anything, orange for casts you cancelled or got interrupted out of. Every gap is drawn, however short. With the spell queue, any red is damage you could have done.
- Live downtime counter during the pull, such as
3.6s | 2.8%. - Pull report the moment combat ends: your downtime and %, plus your idle gaps by length (<0.2s, <0.5s, <1s, <3s, >3s) as a small chart. Many small hesitations and a few long stalls look very different.
- Mythic+ keys. Downtime added up over the whole key, with each boss broken out.
/abc historyfor your recent keys and pulls.
Built for VOD review
Record a pull, scrub through it, and every dropped GCD is right there on screen: the red gap in the lane, sitting between the two casts on either side of it.
Works where it matters
ABC is built for Midnight's restricted combat and keeps working in Mythic+, raids and PvP. It doesn't read any of the cooldown or cast values the game hides there: the game draws its sweeps, and everything else comes from your own button presses and the game's events.
Light on performance
- Redraws: at most 30 times a second, and none at all when nothing is moving.
- Scrolling: moves one frame, not every icon.
- Downtime tracking: runs only in combat.
Getting started
- Move it and change settings: Esc → Edit Mode, then click the ABC frame.
- Colours: a colour-blind safe preset and custom colours.
- Hide out of combat: an option in the same settings.
- Commands:
/abclists them all.
