What's new

AltChecklist

v1.2.1

  • Updated for patch 12.1. The addon now declares support for both 12.0.7 and 12.1.

v1.2.0

  • The checklist window can now be bound to a key: Options → Keybindings → AltChecklist → "Toggle the checklist window".
  • Housekeeping: addon source moved into a Core/ folder and the texture folder is now Media/. No behaviour or saved-variable changes — your checklists, window position and minimap button carry over untouched.

v1.1.5

Main feature: multiple checklists so you can handle different context :)

  • Multiple checklists, switchable straight from the window: the title bar now has a selector showing the active checklist.
  • The same selector creates a new (empty) checklist, duplicates the current one, renames it, and deletes it.
  • Each checklist keeps its own items, reset schedules and per-character progress. Your existing data becomes the "Default" checklist — nothing to migrate.
  • A new checklist starts empty but inherits the character columns of the one it was created from, so it is usable before every alt has logged in again.
  • /ac checklist lists your checklists, /ac checklist <name> switches to one.
  • "Delete all" now names the checklist it is about to empty.

v1.0.0

Made this small addon since the already established similar addons often lacked specific topics I wanted to track and to get rid of Notepad++ tab hell.

  • Checklist matrix across all your characters: one column per alt (class-colored, with per-character progress), one row per checklist item.
  • Daily and weekly reset schedules per item — checkmarks clear themselves after the region's daily/weekly reset.
  • Inline management: hover a row for reorder arrows and delete, right-click a row to rename, right-click a character header to remove that character.
  • Filters: hide completed items, hide individual characters (shift-right-click their header), and a minimum-level filter. Your current character is always shown.
  • Options panel under Options → AddOns → AltChecklist, including profile support — each profile is an independent checklist shared by all your characters.
  • Minimap button and LibDataBroker feed with live progress text
  • Slash command: /ac with add, remove, toggle, done, undone, list, clear, minimap, minlevel, and options.
