v1.1.0
What's new
Changelog
1.1.0
First public release. (There is no 1.0.0: it was planned for before patch 12.1 and never shipped, and by the time the addon was ready the Season 2 data was already in the build — so the two planned releases collapsed into this one.) AltArmy is an account-wide dashboard for people who play a lot of characters: it snapshots each one as you log in, then shows the whole roster at a glance so you can answer "who still owes a Mythic+ this week" without logging through eleven alts. It observes and reports — it never sells, buys, mails or clicks anything for you.
The roster
- Characters — level, gold, XP/rested and last-seen for every character, with account and Warband Bank gold totalled at the bottom.
- Sort by name, level, gold, item level or M+ rating, or drag your own custom order.
- Filter by faction or minimum level, and hide characters you do not care about.
Endgame
- M+ — item level, Mythic+ score, the keystone in your bags, raid lockout, Great Vault status, and how many keystone runs each character has done this week — keystones only, so a night of Heroics does not read as a Mythic+. Hovering a row breaks down every dungeon, every vault slot and every raid boss.
- Raids — boss kills per raid, split by LFR / Normal / Heroic / Mythic, for every character, with a raid selector and the current lockout alongside. ⚠ These counts accumulate from the day you install. Blizzard only reports your current lockout, so nothing before that can be recovered — the footer states the date counting began so an empty column is not mistaken for "never killed it".
- The raid list comes from the Encounter Journal at runtime, so new raids appear on their own without waiting for an addon update.
Weekly and currencies
- Weekly — a reset-aware checklist, characters × tasks. Nine columns fill
themselves — Mythic+, Great Vault, raid, Prey, Abundance, delves, weekly quests,
Silvermoon metas and profession weeklies — and you can add your own tasks and
tick them off per character. Weekly tasks clear at weekly reset, daily ones at daily
reset. Hover any automatic cell for the breakdown behind the number: which weekly
that character still owes, which NPC still has one waiting, which professions are
short.
- Weekly quests: Purging the Vaults (including its six rotational steps), Lost Legends, Turn Back the Surge, Lair: Nymrissa Wavecaller, and the three Housing neighbourhood weeklies — Community Engagement, Going Postal and Housewarming — which count as one row and are only ticked when all three are in, since they are offered together rather than in rotation.
- Silvermoon weeklies are tracked per NPC, because they rotate and each NPC only offers one quest in a given week — so the question is "have I cleared Liadrin this week", not "have I done quest X". All four are covered: Lady Liadrin, Vereesa Windrunner, Halduron Brightwing and Archmage Aethas Sunreaver, who hands out whichever bonus event is running — Timewalking, Delves, Dungeons, Battlegrounds, Arena, Pet Battles or World Quests. The rotation is handled without a schedule, so it keeps working in weeks nobody planned for, and the tooltip names which one you actually did.
- If Blizzard re-issues a weekly under a new quest ID, AltArmy learns the new ID the first time anyone turns it in rather than silently reporting it undone.
- Currency — every seasonal currency across every character in one grid.
- Bank — Warband Bank contents, categorised.
- Prof KP — unspent profession Knowledge Points per character, plus whether each profession's weekly craft is done.
- Money — income and spending classified by source, with a chart over day, week, month or year, for one character or the whole account.
Also tracked
- Delve and Abundance runs per week, and Prey Hunt progress toward the 4-hunt cache, now split by hunt difficulty.
- Per-slot gear, so a row tooltip can show which slots are actually holding a character's item level down, and flag any slot left empty.
Interface
- Nine tabs down the right-hand side, a draggable window with scale and opacity sliders, and a minimap button that can instead live in Blizzard's addon compartment or be hidden entirely.
- Every column header explains itself on hover, including what each symbol means.
- Bundled TeX Gyre Adventor font. Zero dependencies — no embedded libraries, no required addons.
Notes
- Built for Midnight; the
.toctargets 12.1 and retains 12.0.7. - Season 2 data ships staged and inert, ready to switch on when the season opens.
