AirSuite - Talent Profiles
Plan your talents once, then stop thinking about them. Talent Profiles is a talent planner built into the game for WoW: Forever. Lay out a build for any class in the order you want to learn it, and the addon spends your points for you each time you level. You can share builds as links that open on the Forever Talents website, and you can open any inspected player's talents with one click.
Type /airtp or press N.
Requires AirSuite (the core addon). Talent Profiles is an AirSuite module and won't load without it.
Why use it?
- No more talent window at every level. Pick a profile and level as normal. Each new point goes where your plan says, as soon as you ding.
- No more alt-tabbing to a talent calculator. The whole planner (all nine classes, all three trees, the real rules) is in game.
- No more "wait, what did I take at 23?" Every point in a profile lists the exact level you learn it at.
- No more misclicks. Builds that break the game's rules can't be made, and nothing changes on your character until you click Apply.
- No more pasting talent strings by hand. Share a link, the other player imports it, and the build arrives in the same order you planned it.
Features
A full talent planner for every class
- All nine classes are here (Warrior, Paladin, Hunter, Rogue, Priest, Shaman, Mage, Warlock, Druid), each with its three trees shown side by side.
- Left-click a talent to add a rank. Shift-click fills it to max rank. Right-click removes its last rank.
- Uses the same rules as the game and the Forever Talents site: 5 points per row, prerequisite talents (shown as lines between talents), and a 51-point cap. Locked talents are greyed out. If you try something that isn't allowed, a short message tells you why, for example "Requires 10 points in Fury".
- Talent tooltips show your current rank, the next rank's effect, what's still blocking the talent, and the level(s) you learn each rank at.
- Reset tree clears one tree and Clear empties the whole profile.
- Plan builds for any class, not only the one you're playing. Profiles are saved account-wide, so every character can see them.
The learning order is part of the plan
Most planners only show where your points end up. Talent Profiles also records the order you learn them in, which is the part that matters while you level.
- The Learning order list on the right shows each point in order, with the level you get it at (Lv 10, Lv 11, Lv 12…).
- Click talents in the order you want them, or reorder them later with the up and down arrows. A move that would make the build illegal is refused, so the order you see is always one the game accepts.
- Hover a step and that talent lights up in the tree.
Plan for a level, not just for 60
- Every profile has a level. It shows how many points you have at that level and the minimum level the build needs.
- Steps beyond the profile's level stay in the list but are greyed out, so one profile can cover a leveling plan and an endgame plan at once.
- Supports the Legacy Talented perk. If a build includes it, points start earlier and every level in the order list adjusts.
Learns your talents for you as you level
- Apply learns a profile's points in order until you run out of points, then commits them the same way the game's Apply Changes button does.
- Applying a profile makes it your character's active profile. With auto-learn on (the default), the next talents in your active profile are learned automatically every time you level up. A chat message lists exactly what was learned.
- If you level up in combat, it waits until combat ends and then learns them.
- If your current talents don't match the profile, it asks before changing anything:
- Reset & Apply unlearns everything and follows the profile from the start.
- Apply anyway only adds the talents from the profile that you're missing.
- Escape cancels, so nothing is applied by accident.
- Reset & Apply is also available as its own button for respeccing straight into a saved build.
Replaces the talent window (optional)
- Pressing N (or the talent micro button) opens Talent Profiles on your class, with Current Talents selected. Press N again to close it.
- Current Talents shows your character's live talents. Learned points are locked. Unspent points are counted. Clicking talents queues new ranks (shown in blue), and Apply learns them. It works like the default window, but you also get the learning order, tooltips and the ability to save.
- In combat, the game's own window opens instead, since talents can't be changed in combat anyway.
- The Game talent window button in the title bar always opens the default window, and a checkbox in the options turns the replacement off.
Share builds as links
- Every profile has a Share icon. It creates a Forever Talents link that you can copy (Ctrl+C) or post straight into chat.
- The link opens on the Forever Talents website, so players without the addon can view the build in a browser.
- When another Talent Profiles user imports the link, they also get your learning order, step for step.
- Links made on the Forever Talents website import directly too. If a link has no order, the addon creates a valid default order that you can rearrange.
- Import from the Import button, or type
/airtp import <link>. You can name the profile as you import it.
Open anyone's talents from Inspect
- A small bar under the Inspect window shows the inspected player's tree split (e.g. 31/20/0) and point total. The other player doesn't need the addon.
- Open in AirTP loads their build as an unsaved profile. From there you can view it, edit it, share it, or save it as your own.
Save your current build
- From my talents copies your character's current talents into any profile.
- Save on Current Talents keeps a snapshot of your build, including any ranks you have planned but not learned yet, as a new profile.
Easy to manage
- Profiles are listed by class, with their tree split, level and an Active tag.
- Changes are kept in a draft until you click Save. Revert throws them away, and you're asked before unsaved changes are lost.
- New, Duplicate, Delete and Import are at the bottom of the profile list.
- The window can be resized and moved, and it remembers its size and position.
- A minimap button (left-click opens the window, right-click opens the options; its tooltip shows your active profile) can be hidden.
- It uses the AirSuite look, so it matches the other AirSuite modules.

- Show minimap button
- Learn the active profile's next talents when I level up (on by default)
- Open Talent Profiles instead of the game's talent window (on by default)
- Buttons: Open Talent Profiles, Import link, Reset window position
Good to know
- Talents can't change in combat. Apply is blocked in combat, and automatic learning waits until combat ends.
- The game doesn't record the order your talents were learned in. When a build is read from your character or from an inspect, the addon puts it in tree order. You can reorder it before saving.
- Profiles are shared across your account. The active profile is chosen separately on each character.
- Talent data comes from the Forever Talents site data. The window title shows the date of the data.
