Suite 2026.08.13
What's new
AIO Suite 2026.08.13
The biggest update since launch. One week of work: the suite reorganized into cleaner addons, the gear advisor's scoring engine rebuilt around measured data, and a long list of fixes straight from the field.
⚠️ Updating — read this one
- The suite is now TEN addons. The class HUD and the raid/dungeon tools
moved out of AIOMeter into their own addons: AIOClassHud and
AIORaidDungeon. Extract EVERY folder from this zip into
Interface\AddOns(delete-and-replace is safest). Your settings migrate automatically on first login — nothing is lost. - One full game restart (not just /reload) — this release adds new data files and textures the client only picks up at launch.
AIOBis — the gear advisor got honest, and then it got sharp
- Phase-aware everywhere. Over 400 items that you cannot obtain in the current phase no longer appear in recommendations — quest chains, seasonal events, arena seasons, and weapon-proficiency checks included. Phase 3 (Black Temple / Hyjal) unlocks automatically on August 27.
- Trinkets are now MEASURED, not estimated. Every loadout sim finishes with a real per-slot measurement pass: your trinkets get ranked by simulated contribution on YOUR character (marked with an M badge), and a "rank my trinkets" pass can sweep every trinket you own. You can also pin any trinket from search into the comparison.
- Proc rates come from evidence now. Weapon and trinket proc rates were rebuilt from thousands of real combat logs plus the server's own data tables. Headliners: Lionheart's true proc rate is roughly HALF the old community figure (its scores were inflated for years — everywhere, not just here); Mongoose and Executioner actually run 20% faster than everyone assumed (both score higher now).
- Enchants that scored zero now score. A batch of enchants were wearing a wrong internal flag — armor kits, health/mana chest enchants, spell penetration cloaks. Tanks: Fortitude of the Scourge finally counts its +100 armor half.
- Gems and meta conditions done right. Unique-equipped gems can no longer be suggested twice, and meta gem activation conditions are checked against what you'd actually have socketed — with the repair cost shown when a meta isn't active.
- Hunters: your weights were wrong, in your favor now. The melee half of attack power, crit, and agility was invisible to simmed weights (~30% of agility's value lost); default weights under-priced your bow by more than 2×. Both fixed with measured values — bows now correctly out-rank melee weapons, and Thori'dal is #1 where it belongs.
- Protection paladins: threat weights rebuilt on a properly geared, properly talented reference. Holy spell power's threat value roughly tripled. Three surprising-but-true results shipped with proof: haste slightly hurts tank survival (boss parry-haste), avoidance slightly costs threat (Spiritual Attunement converts damage taken into mana into threat), and defence/resilience price at zero once you're crit-immune — capped, not worthless.
- The gear window stopped lagging. If you felt tab clicks stutter or saw a full rescan on every open: fixed. The window now remembers what it already scanned and re-scans only when something real changed — your gear, spec, phase, filters, a trinket sim, or a reputation you earned. The background badges fill a little more gradually on purpose; clicking a tab always responds instantly.
- Sim buttons consolidated: the loadout window is the one door to simming; the rail badges fill themselves.
AIOMeter — new look, new modes
- Full visual overhaul: new bar skin, metal header with the tracked mode and active segment, a proper segment browser (Live / All / per-dungeon / per-fight), and a right-click in-place mode menu.
- Seven new modes including Friendly Fire, Overhealing, Healing Taken, Enemy damage/healing, Mana restored, and Dispels; cooldown indicators on rows.
- WCL parse percentiles on boss fights, and a rank-1 comparison window with coaching hints.
- More is coming here — a major usability pass is in progress.
AIOClassHud (new addon) & AIORaidDungeon (new addon)
- Your class HUD and the raid pack, now standalone — enable exactly what you want. All settings carried over from AIOMeter automatically.
Under the hood
- 13 class simulation engines drive the gear advisor, benchmarked against wowsims and against real combat logs; every scoring change in this release shipped with adversarial validation (hundreds of new automated checks).
- Weapon proc mechanics now model the server's actual event rules (which abilities can trigger weapon procs — it's not all of them).
- Performance: the shared per-frame work budget means background scanning can never eat your framerate, in any suite addon.
