**A compact aggro and threat assistant for World of Warcraft Retail dungeons and Mythic+.**

AggroCaller helps damage dealers react when they pull aggro and gives tanks clear information about every visible enemy they control, are about to lose, or have already lost.

It is designed specifically for 5-player content. Raid combat features are disabled to keep the addon focused and prevent unnecessary alerts.

## For damage dealers

When you pull aggro, AggroCaller can display a large customizable warning, play a sound, and highlight the secure **CALL TANK** button. Clicking it sends a normal message that every tank can read, even without AggroCaller. It supports Party or Instance Chat and can be assigned to a key binding.

Use `{player}` inside a callout message to insert your character name.

## For tanks

Tank Assistant places a compact status beside each enemy nameplate. It can show secure aggro, unstable threat, exact percentages when available, DPS or healer danger, lost duration, and recovery confirmation.

Available profiles are **Minimal**, **Standard**, **Competitive**, and **Tank Assistant**. An optional central panel and private post-combat recap summarize lost mobs and recovery performance.

## Nameplate compatibility

AggroCaller supports Blizzard nameplates and is designed to coexist with Plater, ElvUI, EllesmereUI Nameplates, Platynator, Threat Plates, KuiNameplates, and NeatPlates. Enemy nameplates must be enabled with `V`.

## Settings, testing, and profiles

The modern interface provides Dashboard, Alerts & Messages, Call Tank, Tank Assistant, Appearance, Profiles & Data, and Diagnostics pages.

The local simulator cycles through Secure, Warning, Lost, Healer Danger, and Recovered states. Diagnostics cover readiness, nameplates, callout state, bindings, combat evidence, performance, and recent protected-action reports.

Profiles can be saved per specialization, reloaded, deleted, copied, exported, and imported. Imported data accepts only known settings and never executes Lua code.

## Quick start

1. Install AggroCaller and restart World of Warcraft.
2. Enable enemy nameplates with `V`.
3. Type `/aggrocaller`.
4. Open **Diagnostics → Full Simulator**.
5. Configure a Tank profile or DPS warning.
6. Optionally assign **AggroCaller: Call the Tank** in WoW key bindings.

## Important WoW limitation

WoW restricts automatic addon chat during combat. AggroCaller does not bypass this protection; the secure callout button provides a player-triggered alternative. Protected or unavailable threat values are never converted into fake warnings.
