AFK Warning

Alerts you when you go AFK. (Good if you want to avoid getting logged out while watching TV or making Addons!)

This is a screenshot of AFKWarning's full screen alerts (as with everything else these can work with or without the other popups, icons or sounds! Also they can have the times they trigger changed as well as their colours!

This shows you in DND mode. You can see the mini DND window (configurable), portrait icon (configurable!), and Broker icon (configurable of course!)

Description

This add-on is simply (yet very configurable) to warn you when you have been set AFK. It gets more persistent the closer you get to auto logout time.

As of V3 it now has optional broker icons/info, minimap icon, popup window, changeable sounds, full screen alerts and a portrait icon all fully configurable in the options! ENJOY!

I have been forced recently due to my account being hacked to contact the GMs to get my stuff back. And waiting for 2-8 hours for a GM to reply is bad enough as it is but when you are watching TV and don't notice your self going AFK then get logged out that really got on my wick as THAT was always the time the GM decides to contact me! To get around this I created this very simple add-on that just plays a sound (currently it a windows sound but you could change the wav to whatever you want!

Hope it helps others as well and I am sure there are other uses for this as well! I have already found it useful for something else as while making other add-ons and I find I am logged into the game while just making a quick change and 5 mins later I look up and I am logged out of wow... not any more! ;-)

The game sets you AFK automaticly after a certain time (not changable) and then when you move sets you back automaticly.

FAQ: I'm afraid it is against the Blizzard T&C to prevent the AFK from happening or canceling it by moving or jumping your character though an addon/macro or any software/hardware (e.g. G15 Keyboard). So please don't ask. I would love to help but it's simply not possible Just turn your sound up and use this addon! ;-)
