AFKGuard BG
A simple, effective anti-AFK timer for normal and epic (unrated) battlegrounds. No more getting kicked for inactivity — the addon warns you well before it becomes a problem.
Features
- Automatic movement detection: the timer resets as soon as you move (walking, running, mounted, jumping...)
- Progressive alert system:
- 🟢 Discreet timer at the top of the screen
- 🟡 Turns yellow after 2 minutes of inactivity
- 🔴 Turns red + beep sound after 3 minutes
- 🚨 Full-screen "MOVE" alert + sound after 4 minutes
- Group tracking: a minimap button opens a window listing all your party/raid members, with a green/red indicator showing whether each of them is running the addon
- Built-in debug mode: speeds up the thresholds (30s/1min/1min15) for quick testing, toggleable from a button in the tracking window or via command
- Never triggers in rated battlegrounds — the addon automatically disables itself outside normal/epic BGs
Commands
/afkguardor/agbg— opens the group tracking window (same as clicking the minimap button)/afkguard debug— toggles debug mode (faster thresholds for testing)
Notes
Group tracking works by broadcasting messages between players who have the addon installed and active — it's not absolute proof of anti-AFK behavior, but a solid visual indicator of who on your team has the addon running.
