Description
Adventure Binder
Your next adventure is already inside Azeroth. Pull up a chair, open your binder and turn the journey from 1 to 60 into a collection worth showing off.
Adventure Binder is a game within your game: a free card-collecting and battling adventure inside World of Warcraft. Turn your travels through Azeroth into an illustrated collection, open packs, build clever decks and challenge your friends. Or step into the Brass Ring, recruit an army and discover a completely different way to compete.
Love TCGs, rare-card hunting, surprising combinations or filling every page of a binder? Collect familiar heroes, fearsome creatures, iconic weapons, class abilities and unforgettable places. Whether you are questing, gathering or waiting for your next dungeon, another adventure awaits between these pages.
Collect. Build. Battle. Better with friends.
Show off your favourite finds, trade deck ideas, challenge your best friend at the card table, gather up to five players for a party deathroll, or host Battlegrounds lobbies for up to 12 players. Adventure Binder gives your group another reason to stay for one more game.
Join the Adventure Binder Discord for updates, help, deck ideas, collection showcases and fellow adventurers to challenge. Share feedback, report bugs and help shape the next adventure.

Turn your adventures into cards
Earn addon points and account XP through supported quests, exploration, leveling, gathering, fishing, crafting, profession progress, dungeon and raid bosses, and PvP activities. Eligible rewards can also bring Pack Vouchers and Shiny Vouchers. A quiet gathering evening and a busy dungeon run can both help your collection grow.
Azeroth itself rewards curiosity: eligible enemy defeats, location visits and newly looted items can reveal collectible cards. Supported world discoveries follow your account's progress, giving familiar journeys another reason to feel rewarding.
Visit an innkeeper to browse packs, or a class trainer for Vanilla Flavor. Spend earned points or eligible Pack Vouchers, store packs for later and open them wherever you like. Enjoy each reveal individually or use Reveal All. Wrappers, card backs, rarity effects and sounds give each collection its own character; eligible rerolls offer another chance at selected results.
Discover Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Diamond cards, with shiny appearances where supported. Track discoveries and duplicates while undiscovered identities stay concealed until you find them.

- Azeroth: Relics and Rituals
Pantheon brings remarkable collecting powers to your binder. Its Divine Sanctum offers a dedicated place to explore the powers you have unlocked.
Azeroth: Relics and Rituals brings original retro-anime artwork and fresh combinations to the battle table. Experiment with Beasts, Constructs, rituals, discard and return effects, weapons and activated Locations. Healing prevention, activation-cost effects and the Nether give creative decks more answers and surprises. Collecting this set also strengthens eligible Shiny Voucher reward chances.
Faction Warfare connects your collection through 41 freely mixable archetypes, including new cross-set plans supported by Relics and Rituals. Follow a theme or invent your own combination.
Binder Battles — your collection, your strategy
Build a 40-card deck, defend your Stronghold and command up to seven creatures, supported by spells, weapons, equipment and Locations. Choose your opening hand, develop your energy and decide when to attack, protect, heal, freeze, summon or revive. Weapon durability, paid Location abilities and recurring effects make timing matter.
More fluid and visually appealing than you might expect from a WoW addon, Binder Battles brings the card table to life. Smooth card movement, distinct melee and ranged attacks, spell impacts, summon and revival trails, animated portals, visible Shields and purposeful sound cues give each play a satisfying sense of motion. Clear targeting, longer-readable outcome text and live card readouts keep the action understandable. Choose Low, Standard or Cinematic effect density in battle Options; Reduced Motion and Glow settings let you choose a quieter presentation.
Unlocked cards provide their battle copy allowances. Your collectibles stay in your binder when you play, and cosmetic appearances do not increase battle strength.
- Practice your way. Choose Aggressive, Midrange or Control opponents to test your active deck. Choose Beginner, Standard or Expert difficulty. Loaned-card lessons cover Guard, Cleanse, weapon recovery, Shield trades, Freeze, card draw, Location energy, Survey and finding lethal. Inspect the completed lesson, repeat it or move to another. Practice and lessons have no stakes or rewards.
- Challenge a friend. Casual supports single games and first-to-two matches without voucher stakes or ranked rewards.
- Compete in Ranked. First-to-two matches use agreed addon-voucher stakes and rank progression. One wager covers the whole match. Addon points and vouchers have no cash value.
- Keep your ideas. Save twelve named deck configurations, including incomplete drafts. Copy decks, check legality, explore archetype drafts and use collection-based autofill.
- Find the right card. Search names and rules; choose sets, types, costs, rarities and archetypes; sort results and inspect your energy curve. Direct-choice menus make larger collections easier to browse.
- Discover what works together. Alt-left-click a workshop card to open Works with, a navigable guide to useful interactions among cards you own. Follow suggestions, inspect rules and retrace your choices while keeping control of your deck.
- Understand the action. Live effect readouts show relevant current values and conditions. Location invocations reveal the spell they produce, while separate Nether counters let you inspect each player's public banished pile. Expanded tooltips, keyword help, recent public actions and completed-game review help explain what happened.
- Choose your approach. Fifty existing cards now offer richer interactions: alternate spell and Location effects, creature trigger preferences, and tactical weapon choices. See the total energy cost before committing, choose eligible recipients, and trade immediate pressure for recovery, protection or a delayed payoff. Shift-click eligible friendly creatures to adjust their preferences.
- Plan your comeback. Revive eligible creatures from your Graveyard without an age limit, or recover broken weapons to your hand with their printed durability restored. Ordered choices clearly distinguish what you recover from what you banish. Land crystals show energy production separately from activation cost, and visible Shield bubbles track protection as it is consumed.
- Enjoy the table. Illustrated opening-hand prompts, readable status effects, targeting guides, card travel, spell impacts, weapon effects, original sound cues, music and hero portraits bring matches to life. Choose card backs and appearances, use battle Chat and adjust windowed or fullscreen presentation. Right-click your portrait for playful taunts with a shared cooldown; right-click the opponent portrait to mute their taunts and sound.
Multiplayer requires same-faction players running compatible builds. Find accessible friends through your selected target, group members or visible friendly players, then issue a direct challenge. A discreet guild/group advisory can flag a newer build reported by another player and explain whether your multiplayer rules differ; check CurseForge to confirm and update.
Your Deck Workshop
Make a strategy your own with twelve named deck slots, saved drafts, deck copying and a chosen active deck. Mix cards across sets and archetypes, explore archetype drafts, or start with collection-based autofill and refine every choice.
Search card names and rules, filter by set, type, energy cost, rarity and archetype, show selected cards and sort your results. Track Locations, creatures, spells and weapons alongside your energy curve. The Card Inspector explains battle effects; hover to compare and Alt-click for Works with suggestions. Deck Check helps identify problems before you save and play. Choose card appearances and backs, then fit the workshop to your screen with fullscreen, compact and windowed modes and position reset.
Practice, learn and review
Test your active deck against Aggressive, Midrange or Control opponents at Beginner, Standard or Expert difficulty. Short lessons lend the cards needed to learn important interactions, so you can start learning before your collection is complete. Repeat lessons, inspect the result and review completed games to understand your choices. Practice has no points or vouchers at risk and no rewards.

The Brass Ring — Battlegrounds
Build your army. Own the arena. The Brass Ring is a separate autobattler for 2–12 players, with eight- or twelve-seat bot practice and hosted group lobbies. Every recruit is available within the match: you do not need a collectible deck to join.
Choose from three offered commanders, with two free commander rerolls. Explore 36 commanders, 312 recruits, seven army slots and six tavern tiers. Recruit allies, refresh or freeze the shop, upgrade your tavern and arrange your formation before automatic combat begins.
Combine matching recruits into Ascended units, pursue upgrade choices and build around factions, positional effects, entry abilities, sale rewards and combat triggers. Reserve recruits in your hand, redeploy your formation and use matching-copy highlights to spot promising offers. Brasswick's Gambits add formation challenges with lasting rewards from round three onward. From round seven, Second Act offers one free switch among your original Gambits while preserving earned buffs. Recruitment time grows with the rounds, giving larger armies room to plan. Lucky Find highlights a bonus recruit purchase every third round, while formation growth rewards carefully chosen allies.
Host a lobby, invite friends and fill spare seats with bots. Follow standings, inspect commander powers, consult the recruit guide and replay the previous fight. Brasswick, the arena's ringmaster, supplies reactive commentary with optional banter and music controls.
Practice tracks its own statistics. Completed qualifying human-only group games can award top-four Pack Vouchers, with host confirmation and an account-wide payout cooldown. Group and practice career results are recorded separately. Recruits and match gold belong to the arena match; your collectible cards remain yours.
Take a seat at the deathroll table
Gather 2–5 nearby party members for a free elimination deathroll. Join the leader's lobby, ready up and take turns rolling beneath the previous result. Roll 1 and you are out; the last player standing wins. The table shows seats, readiness, the current roller and the next range. The five-player party table is free entry with no points, vouchers or XP at stake. For friendly rivalry, two-player Death Roll and normal WoW duel wagers let you risk addon points against a friend. Agree the stake, accept the invitation and let the verified result settle the wager. Open /ab wager lobby, or use /ab wager for consensual two-player point deathrolls and WoW duel wagers.

A collection that helps you collect
Normal and shiny ownership build collecting bonuses. Named powers, regional synergies and milestones can improve activity points, account XP, lucky rewards, pack costs, missing-card weighting and eligible reward chances. Extra duplicates do not repeatedly stack the same ownership perk; card details explain each contribution.
Adventure Binder has its own built-in experience and leveling system alongside your normal WoW 1–60 journey. Supported adventures earn lifetime addon account XP; spending addon points does not reduce your level. Collection, XP and currencies are shared across characters in the same account save, while talent choices can suit each character. These bonuses improve Adventure Binder rewards, not your WoW character’s combat power.
Advance through ten initial account levels and specialize in Warfront, Wilds, Expeditions, Journey and Workshop. Explore connected branches for rewards, supplies and fortune, earn level passives and Pack Vouchers, and unlock the One More Adventure bonus-card talent. Preview ordinary talent builds, then visit the appropriate friendly capital leader to apply or reset them for free.
Choose talents to suit each character while sharing account collection, XP and currencies. Account level rewards grant twice the new level in Pack Vouchers. The Bonuses view explains collecting benefits and voucher chances. Beyond the first ten levels, deeper paths and lasting advancement await. Some milestones are best experienced for yourself.

Give your duplicates a purpose
Salvage extra normal copies for points and account XP while protecting your last normal copy. The confirmation previews protected cards, current pack-discount adjustments, returned points and XP before you commit. Eligible extra shinies can be exchanged within their set to pursue missing shinies, or salvaged for Shiny Vouchers while retaining a protected copy. Applicable completion rewards give collectors further goals; completed shiny sets no longer exchange extra shinies for Pack Vouchers.
Pack Vouchers purchase eligible packs at their displayed costs. Shiny Vouchers redeem missing eligible shinies. BIS and Pantheon use their own acquisition rules. Previews, eligibility information and confirmations explain your rewards before an exchange.
Your binder, your style, your friends
Browse an illustrated parchment book with set, ownership, rarity and archetype filters, sorting and favourites. Inspect artwork, flavour, source notes, collecting powers and battle rules. Share finds through in-game card links and use Share collection to capture your pages. Separate, consensual Death Roll and duel point wagers offer another way to play with friends.
Give your collection the HD treatment
Want sharper card portraits? Install the optional Adventure Binder HD Artwork pack alongside the main addon. It supplies higher-resolution portraits through compressed game textures, with standard artwork as a fallback. Keep Adventure Binder installed: the HD companion is artwork-only and does not replace the game.
The compact main addon already includes its playable collections, standard portraits, required original sound clips and additional effect cues. You can play without the HD download. Personal custom sound files are optional.
Adjust book size, sound, music, motion, glow, battle foil, opacity and XP feedback to suit your screen. Compact battle windows and a consolidated Battlegrounds Options panel make the table easier to fit around your adventures. Choose Quiet discovery notifications to collect without card pop-ups and their sounds, and Grouped or Hourly save prompts to reduce interruptions. Discoveries are still awarded; completion gifts, choices and urgent save reminders remain visible. In-game help and an error-report window make learning and reporting problems easier.
IMPORTANT — moving to another PC
YOUR COLLECTION IS SAVED ON YOUR COMPUTER, NOT ON BLIZZARD'S SERVERS. INSTALLING THE ADDON ON A NEW PC DOES NOT TRANSFER YOUR PROGRESS. Copy your complete AdventureBinder.lua save and AdventureBinder.lua.bak backup from the correct account's SavedVariables folder, with WoW completely closed on both computers. Copying only the addon folder is not enough.
Save location:
World of Warcraft/<client folder>/WTF/Account/<account folder>/SavedVariables/
AdventureBinder.lua
AdventureBinder.lua.bak
- Exit WoW normally on the old PC to save your latest progress. Copy both files to a safe backup location.
- Install the matching WoW client and the same or a newer compatible Adventure Binder build on the new PC. Log into the intended account once, then exit WoW completely to create its account folders.
- Back up any Adventure Binder saves already on the new PC. Copy your old files into that account's SavedVariables folder, preserving their exact names.
- Start WoW and check your cards, points and progression. Keep the original backup until you have verified the transfer.
The destination account folder name may differ. A transfer replaces the destination collection; it does not merge independently played collections. Preserve legacy AdventureCards saves if you still rely on migration. For explicitly paired linked accounts, retain every linked account's complete saves and pairing records; account sync is not an automatic PC backup. The included BACKUP_AND_TRANSFER.md guide covers transfers and recovery. Routine backups of the entire client WTF folder preserve other addon settings too.
Play fairly and protect your collection
Cheating or tampering can damage your collection, invalidate progress or trigger collection integrity safeguards. Play fairly and keep regular backups.
If something goes wrong, preserve saves and backups and contact support before resetting anything. Built-in recovery records can help, but they do not replace an external backup. Keep save files private.
Install and start collecting
Install Adventure Binder through CurseForge for the WoW installation you actually launch. Enable it at character selection, then type /ab or use the minimap button. /ab help opens command guidance; /ab errors lets you copy a useful bug report.
For manual installation, extract the download so Interface/AddOns/AdventureBinder/AdventureBinder.toc exists in the correct client folder. Close WoW before updating and preserve your account's SavedVariables files.
Open the binder. Azeroth has more to collect.
