What's new

0.3.1

Classic support

  • The addon now loads on Classic Era, TBC Anniversary and Mists Classic. Previously it was flagged out of date and skipped, so no summary or button ever appeared.
  • Classic Era and TBC: about 9,200 quest summaries bundled, written from the original Classic quest text. No setup needed.
  • Mists Classic (and Wrath/Cata clients): the quest's objectives line is shown in place of the long description for now. Full summaries will follow.
  • Each client loads only its own summaries, so Classic no longer gets retail (post-Cataclysm) text for quests that share an ID.

Retail

  • Updated for 12.1.0.

Other

  • /adhdquest now shows how many summaries are bundled, and makes clear that companion.py is optional. You only need it for quests that have no bundled summary.
