Due to a bug in the 4.1 patch, the message filtering system has been disabled by Blizzard.

Thanks to additions in the 4.1 patch, we can now filter what addon messages will be sent to you!
You can setup a white-list of addon messages that you would like to receive. Limitations set by Blizzard allow for up to 512 registered message types with the client and 64 registered with the server (a hot-fix can increase the limit on server-side prefixes). Registering more than 64 message types will cause the server to send everything (this may change).
The idea behind this addon is simple:
- Set up a pre-hook to "RegisterAddonMessagePrefix"
- Filter incoming registration requests
- By default, a prefix (or message type) will be allowed
- Deny any user-specified prefixes
- There is support to auto-register a prefix when used with SendAddonMessage.
- This option only applies if the prefix is not registered with the game.
- This option will not allow prefixes that would otherwise be blocked.
- This option should not display excess spam.
- This option will show the normal allowed/denied messages (when enabled).
- There is an option to show a "faked" error message when a prefix is auto-registered.
