File Name
AddEmote-2.31.zip
Supported Versions
- 4.2.0
2.31
- tested compatible with 4.2
2.30
- changed AddEmote to no longer need ChatSubs as a separate addon. If ChatSubs and AddEmote are both installed, if ChatSubs has an equal or higher version, it will be used, otherwise AddEmote's internal version of ChatSubs will. This should prevent the packaging errors that caused problems for people who were installing AddEmote fresh from happening, as well as preventing problems from deleting ChatSubs, ChatSubs' TOC version not being updated, etc.
2.2.4
- updated ToC for 4.1
2.2.3
- tested and compatible with 4.0.1
2.2.2
- removed use of deprecated functions to get ready for Cataclysm
2.2.1
- bugfix
2.2
- reformatted /listeemotes' list to alphabetize the emotes and fit better in the default chat box
2.1.2
- updated ToC for WoW 3.3
- updated ChatSubs to 2.2.2, which adds <mouseover> substitution string
2.1.1
- bugfix version
2.1
- added <text> tag, to allow insertion of user-added text to the emotes. For example:
/addemote pe 's <pettype> <pet> <text>
/addemote ps 's <pettype> <pet> says, "<text>"
/pe runs around in circles.
Bonefire 's imp Gobkin runs around in circles.
/ps You never let me have any fun!
Bonefire 's imp Gobkin says, "You never let me have any fun!"
2.0
- added support for alternatives in emote strings
