What's new
Update Notes:
General Changes
- Axe to the Anachronisms: Swept through the entire database and brutally euthanized all the modern internet slang that had somehow sneaked into Azeroth. If it sounds like it belongs on a modern tourist pamphlet, it’s dead now.
- The "LitRPG" containment zone: Don't worry, Princess Donut, Carl, and the Dungeon AI were completely untouched. We know better than to poke that bear.
Race-Specific Updates
- Catlike: We took the anime catgirl behind the shed. Removed "nya?" and other tragic weeaboo slang, replacing it with the proper, aloof sociopathy of a real feline.
- Dwarf: Drowned their dictionary in a keg of Ironforge stout. Dwarves are now at least 80% more Scottish and will actively call you a "numpty" or refer to your children as a "bairn" instead of just saying generic fantasy greetings.
- Night Elf & Darnassian: Addressed the glaring safety hazard of Sentinels cheerfully shouting "For Teldrassil!" considering it is currently a pile of ash. Prefixes and affixes have been updated to reflect their current, significantly less combustible state.
- Troll (Darkspear): Confiscated their modern Kingston resort-town vocabulary. Returned them to their authentic, voodoo-slinging, Loa-worshipping roots.
- Forsaken: Cranked the morbidity dial up to 11. They will now comfortably refer to the living as "meat-sacks" and "warm-bloods," exactly as the Dark Lady intended.
- Blood Elf: Increased baseline arrogance by 40%. They will now properly address non-elves as the unwashed peasants and barbarians they truly are.
- Gnome: Handed them a bigger wrench. Adjusted their technical jargon to sound less like a generic nerd and more like someone about to accidentally explode an entire city block in the name of science.
- Worgen: Made them slightly more feral and distinctly more British. Added some proper Gilnean gutter-slang for when you need to politely threaten someone before mauling them.
