# Absolute Assurance - An IRS Validation Addon

**Know where the gold came from before it lands in your bags.**

Accounts are being actioned for receiving purchased gold, and you don't have to buy it yourself to get caught. A seller pays for your enchant, your run or your ore with gold from a website. The trade looks normal, but that gold has now passed through your account. Absolute Assurance audits the other player before you click Trade, warns you when their wealth can't be explained by playing, and keeps a dated paper trail of everything you receive.

## What's new in 1.3.0
- **Auction house laundering detection:** catches gold sellers who deliver by overpaying for junk listings, and gold buyers who get paid through one giant sale
- **Nuclear siren alarm** when a risky player offers you gold, with a Test button and an optional switch back to the raid warning

## Features

### Audit
Target any player to get a verdict built from Blizzard's own statistics. Their peak gold is weighed against what they actually earned from loot, quests, vendors and the auction house. Whatever can't be explained is **untraced gold**: the minimum that arrived by trade, mail or other transfer.
- Verdicts: **CLEAR**, **WATCH**, **HIGH RISK** or **FLAGGED**, with a 0–100 risk score
- Red and green bar showing earned versus untraced gold
- Plain-English findings explaining every point
- Catches fresh gold deliveries: re-audit someone and see what arrived since last time

### Auction House Detection (new)
Gold sellers commonly deliver gold by "buying" a junk item from their customer at an absurd price. Both sides of that deal now stand out.
- **Outsized purchase:** a single bid worth more than half of everything the character ever earned by playing flags a likely **gold seller**
- **Outsized sale:** one sale making up most of their auction income flags a likely **gold buyer**, and that sale is no longer counted as earned income
- **High average per auction** flags inflated prices spread across several sales
- Flagged auctions turn red on the Details tab, with the reason on hover
- Legitimate traders with lots of normal-sized sales are unaffected

### Trade Guard
Your trade partner is audited the moment a trade window opens.
- Verdict banner above the trade window
- **Nuclear siren alarm** and an on-screen warning when a high-risk or flagged player offers gold. It plays on the Master channel, so you hear it even with sound effects muted.
- A **Review risk** shield covers the Trade button until you've acknowledged the warning

- Every statistic in clean, hoverable rows: income, spending, auction house, activity and professions
- Computed extras: self-earned total, untraced total, income per auction posted, seller share

### My Gold: your own paper trail
Every copper you gain or spend is matched to its source and dated: trades and mail (with the sender's name and risk rating), loot, quests, vendors, the auction house, flights and trainers.
- **Who paid you**: senders ranked by amount, each with their verdict
- Chat warning whenever a risky player sends you gold

- Everyone you've audited, ranked by risk and searchable by name, guild, realm or class
- Privately flag players with your own notes; flagged players always trigger the full warning

## Good to know
- **A risk signal, not proof.** The game reports *how much* gold came from outside sources, not *who* sent it. Alt transfers, gifts and item sales by trade look the same as bought gold. Use the verdict to decide, not to accuse.
- **Lifetime figures only.** The game keeps each character's single biggest auction sale and purchase, not every auction, so the auction checks look at how far those stand out.
- **Private.** Everything stays on your computer. Nothing is posted to chat, uploaded or shared, and players are only audited when you ask or when a trade opens.
- Your gold ledger starts recording the day you install.
- After installing or updating, **fully restart the game** (not just `/reload`) so it picks up the alarm sound.
