You've spent hours watching your little worlds from above: kingdoms rising, wars breaking out, dragons burning villages down. Worldfall lets you go down there and stand in it.
Possess any creature the normal way (select it and press G). The camera then swoops down out of the sky and into its head, and the flat map you know turns into a full 3D world. It isn't a separate copy of the game. It's your actual world, live. Terrain, water, lava and fire all come from your map. Every person, animal, monster, tree, boat and building is a 3D model colored from the game's own sprites and kingdom colors, so it still looks like WorldBox, just with depth.
Then you live that creature's life. Walk around a village and talk to people, and they'll actually hold a conversation. Walk into their houses. Chop trees, mine ore and craft your own gear. Pick up quests and bounties from the town board. Fight with swords, axes, bows, or a pump shotgun if you're feeling dramatic, and every weapon has its own swing speed and weight. Each kind of creature gets its own power: a bandit's firebomb, a necromancer raising the dead, a wolf's howl. If you take over a boat, you're at the helm with the sails and the cannons. If you take over a king, you get a royal council for wars, alliances and tribute, plus a war map where you can send your soldiers into battle.
You can watch a nuke's mushroom cloud rise over the hills, see meteors streak across the sky, or look up as a giant cloud hand reaches down from above. Dragons fly with real flapping wings. Nights have auroras and shooting stars. Bring out the binoculars (Z) and you can see clear across the continent to a village on the far shore, drawn in full detail.
Press V at any time to see the whole world in 3D from above, and press G to dive back into someone's eyes. When you let go of the creature, the camera flies back up to the normal god view as if nothing happened.
No mod loader is needed. Drop the DLL into the game's mods folder, turn on Experimental Mode, and restart. It works on Windows and Mac.
It's free, and im commited to continue providing updates
