Modifies the pet's boar timer so that it either stays with you for longer or doesn't despawn until it is killed in combat. Offers additional options to modify the whistle's cooldown.

Normally your pet boar is despawned after 3 minutes. These files modify this timer:

ZBetterPetBoarx2_P

Makes the timer 2 times longer. Your pet will remain alive until killed in combat or after 6 minutes have passed.

ZBetterPetBoarx3_P

Makes the timer 3 times longer. Your pet will remain alive until killed in combat or after 9 minutes have passed.

ZBetterPetBoarx4_P

Makes the timer 4 times longer. Your pet will remain alive until killed in combat or after 12 minutes have passed.

ZBetterPetBoarx5_P

Makes the timer 5 times longer. Your pet will remain alive until killed in combat or after 15 minutes have passed.

zBetterPetBoarInf_P

Disables the timer completely. Your pet will remain alive until killed in combat.

Normally you can use the boar whistle again after its cooldown which is 3 minutes. These files modify its cooldown:

zBetterPetBoarHalfCooldown_P

Makes the cooldown 50% shorter. You will be able to use the whistle again after 1 minute and 30 seconds.

zBetterPetBoarVeryShortCooldown_P

You can use the whistle again almost immediately after it is used.

Normally the pet boar has 1760 health and its main attack power attribute is 140. This file modifies these values:

zBetterPetBoarx2Healthx2Damage_P

Your pet boar now has 3520 health and its main attack power attribute is 280.

Notes

Only use one timer variant and one cooldown variant at a time.

If your pet boar is still alive and you use the whistle again after its cooldown, you can spawn more of them at the same time. Eg. you can have two pet boars at the same time and they stay with you until they are killed in combat or their timer despawns them which is why I don't recommend using the infinite variant on servers. If you happen to use the infinite variant on a server you could just close the server and relaunch it. In solo the boars despawn when you exit the game/exit to main menu. In a multiplayer game hosted from the main menu the boars despawn when you exit the game/exit to main menu.

If you want to use this on a server you probably need to install it on both the server and the clients that want to use it.

Installation for server

Download the mod and extract its .zip file.

Go to where your game is installed and navigate to R5\Builds\WindowsServer\R5\Content\Paks. Make a new folder named "~mods" in here if you don't have one already.

Drop zBetterPetBoar_P.pak, zBetterPetBoar_P.ucas, zBetterPetBoar_P.utoc from the archive in there.

In the end it should look something like this:
