FAQ
Q: What are the unit frames in the screenshot?
A: Something else I've been working on. Don't know when I will release it.

Love this mod but as someone who is shade colour blind it's hard to distinguish between friendly and enemy colours, could you add a colour slider for each unit frame type so i can change friendlies to Blue for example and enemies remain Red.
Keep up the good work.
TwinkiePlates is an updated addon built off of this one which has the same look I think.
There are some issues with the addon, since the last API 11 update.
I can't hide the nameplates outside of combat... So it's either I have them turned off or always on :( Also Fade target option is not working to... and probably some other things as well.
Such a pitty that none updates this addon anymore... I hope some one picks it up and continue to work on it!
i would like to change the color of the cast bar can anyone help me identify it in the lua
still working? i mena, last update 7. september 2014. Long time ago...
Hi, I must say that I totally love your nameplates. Since drop 4 new default nameplates and ui i was having a hard time focusing XD and now its alot beter.
Suggestion : Option to turn the entire nameplate purple during a moo, instead of just a cast bar.
And please release your awesome unit frames, probably the most beautiful ive seen, and once again need to replace the default unit frame from drop 4 with that terrible cast back and backward hp for enemies and backward buff bar.
hey, i wonder could you add class themed colors to the nameplates? it would be great for pvp.. warriors red nameplate and such.
How do I get the My Unit Frame displayed in the screenshot?
Someone please pick this addon up. Best nampeplate replacement out there. Thanks in advance!
very smooth looking addon, just few things i want you to do in order to make it perfect, Give us the option in the matrix to alter guildies/circle/contact list nameplates in diffrent catagory than friendly units and color changes please add color changes option!, if you do that it will definetly be the best nameplates addon available
Feedback:
I absolutely love this addon. It is my new favorite one for nameplates. The legacy targeting, clear font, bar increments, and ease of applying settings is great. My horrible eyesight finds this one to be the easiest to look at.
My only gripe is the lack of options to turn off Settler resources, item drops, and to differentiate my guild. I also have no idea what the "Other" tab is, and I had disabled everything underneath it in hopes it would include the resources and item drops. Alas, my screen is still littered with junk nameplates. I will have to keep my previous nameplate addon until this one is potentially updated with the aforementioned improvements.
I am also hoping one day you might work on group and raid frames. I think your overall concept would be fantastic for those! :)
Anyway I could have nameplates on without seeing my name?
I would like to have castbar always enabled without having to see my name.
how do i get the smooth nameplats?
I'm having trouble keeping all the HP bars visible. I originally had it set to hide HP bars when the HP was full, but I noticed that HP bars of people in my party missing HP weren't showing, especially my own HP bar. I've now set it to show all HP bars all the time, but I'm noticing party members who randomly don't have HP bars even with this setting on. it fixes with a reloadui.

Hey NyanPrime. I've been making some tweaks locally, starting with range-based fading, for example. Do you have a repo somewhere I can track, should I just submit patches/an altered version, or are you not interested?
Did I overlook an option to hide unit names? Additionally, a focus target matrix column (or just a toggle for target unit frame settings to also apply to focus) would be really helpful on 2 tank encounters and buggy frame rooms like Ohmna. Until then, I think these lua exceptions will work. Thanks!
the categories need to be as follows:
self
target
friendly players
friendly npcs
enemy players
enemy npcs
neutral players (not pvp flagged)
neutral npcs
group
etc
This would make nprime do everything i need/want it to, and I would be so happy
=c when you are going to add the option for Non-player and Player option instace of have it all in one huge category... I really wish you do that I dont need to see the nameplates of vendor, settler stations, etc I just want to configure the Player nameplates
this, super annoying
