Description
Boss Hardmode: Official Overhaul
This mod completely transforms boss encounters by introducing new AI patterns, deadly projectiles, and relentless combat mechanics. Experience Terraria's bosses like never before.
Pre-Hardmode Bosses
-
King Slime: Gains a massive speed boost to his jumps when his health is low. Upon death, he releases a final burst of Blue Slimes to overwhelm the player.
-
Eye of Cthulhu: In its first phase, it enters an "Orbit Mode," circling the player while firing Demon Scythes. In the second phase, it summons a massive swarm of 20 Servants at once.
-
Eater of Worlds: Moves significantly faster and has improved tracking, making it much harder to dodge its massive body.
-
Brain of Cthulhu: Periodically spawns Crimeras directly on the player's position once its health starts to drop.
-
Queen Bee: Summons "Kamikaze Bees" that hover before charging at high speeds. During her dashes, she leaves behind a lethal trail of stingers.
-
Skeletron: Regularly fires a spreading fan of bone-shaped projectiles toward the player.
-
Deerclops: Encircles the player with a ring of ice spikes and summons a hailstorm from above. His roar now inflicts the Frozen debuff.
The Mechanical Trio
-
The Destroyer: Features improved head-tracking. When damaged, it aggressively deploys up to 15 Probes to saturate the area with lasers.
-
The Twins: Retinazer and Spazmatism create a lethal "Binding Beam" between them. Spazmatism performs a rapid series of 16 dashes in a circular pattern, while Retinazer fires complex laser fans.
-
Skeletron Prime: All limbs have doubled health. The Cannon fires rocket fans, while the Saw and Vice create a "Vacuum Effect," constantly pulling the player into close-quarters combat.
Hardmode Progression
-
Queen Slime: Cannot be escaped; she will teleport to the player if they move too far away. During her jumps, she litters the ground with Crystal Spike mines.
-
Plantera: Her hooks now deal damage and poison players on contact. Her spores are now homing, and she gains a permanent speed boost in her second phase.
-
Golem: His fists can pass through walls and knock players back. Golem’s jumps create a seismic shockwave (Dazed effect), and at low health, he fires concentrated Celestial Beams.
-
Empress of Light: Moves at double speed during certain phases. Her "Ethereal Lances" now feature aggressive homing capabilities during the final stage of their flight.
-
Duke Fishron: Summons multiple water tornadoes above and below the player. Fires dense rings of poisonous bubbles and wide laser fans in his final stage.
-
Lunatic Cultist: Attacks every second with Demon Scythes, summons rains of poisonous spit, and calls upon minions from the Celestial Towers for aid.
Celestial Events
-
The Pillars: Each Lunar Tower has gained unique automated defenses:
-
Solar: Summons falling Fireballs from the sky.
-
Stardust: Calls down Falling Stars onto the player's position.
-
Nebula: Fires homing Nebula Spheres that track movement.
-
Vortex: Creates "Vacuum Bolts"—rapid-fire projectiles that rain down vertically.
