Why does SkyTerra exist when there is already an official Skyblock seed?

The Skyblock seed changes many vanilla game mechanics, making the gameplay fundamentally different from standard Terraria. In SkyTerra, zombies do not drop Sickles, and slimes are far less generous. SkyTerra is more challenging and engaging, without pushing difficulty to extremes. If the vanilla Skyblock seed feels too easy or not authentic enough, SkyTerra is the right choice!

You will appear on a small piece of land, in the middle of the void. Your task is to show your knowledge of Terraria and your resourcefulness to complete hidden in map tasks?

You can play SkyTerra with your friends. The files page contains four versions of the map with different internal difficulty levels.
