AutoSwim

AutoSwim is a simple quality-of-life mod for Subnautica 2 that adds a toggleable auto-movement feature.

Press X to toggle AutoSwim on or off. Once enabled, your character will keep moving forward automatically until you stop it. By default autoDash will also trigger while autoSwim is active.

Features

Toggle AutoSwim with your Biomod Active Keybind
Works while:
- Walking
- Swimming
- Driving vehicles
Automatically stops when moving backwards by pressing W / S / Forward Arrow / Backward Arrow
Compatible with keyboard, gamepads and possibly console as well (not tested though)
Designed for the current version of Subnautica 2
F3 to open config menu to change keybinds
Checkbox to decide if you also want to autoDash while this is active

Installation

This mod uses .pak, .ucas, and .utoc files.

Install the mod so that the files are placed inside the following folder:

...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Subnautica2\Subnautica2\Content\Paks\LogicMods

The uploaded mod package contains the required packaged files:

AutoSwim.pak
AutoSwim.ucas
AutoSwim.utoc

Recommended structure:

Controls

Key	Action
X	Toggle AutoSwim on/off

Notes

This mod is intended as a lightweight convenience feature for players who want to reduce the need to constantly hold forward movement while exploring, swimming, or travelling in vehicles.

Currently autoDash only works while swimming and will stop if you go inside a vehicle or base. Will have to restart autoSwim for autoDash to work again.
