Valley Morning

Valley Morning is a lightweight morning briefing mod designed to help you plan your day in Stardew Valley.

It gives you useful information about your farm and the town through simple HUD messages, without changing the game's economy, XP, or energy systems.

🌅 Daily Morning Briefing

At the beginning of each day, Valley Morning automatically checks your farm and town and provides a short briefing.

When your save loads, you'll see:

"Valley Morning active — Press F8 for your daily briefing."

At the start of each day, the mod displays up to 4 HUD lines by default. If there is more information available, you'll receive a notification such as:

"+X more lines — Press F8 for the full briefing."

📋 Full Briefing

Press F8 at any time to display the complete briefing for the current day.

If there is nothing to report, the mod simply displays:

"No briefing available for today."

Never miss an important birthday.

Valley Morning can notify you about villagers celebrating their birthday and provide a useful gift hint, including the number of their favorite gifts.

🎉 Festival Reminders

Get notified about festivals happening today or tomorrow.

Special seasonal events are also supported, including the Night Market from Winter 15–17.

💧 Watering Reminder

Know exactly how many crop tiles are waiting to be watered, so you can start your morning with the most important farm tasks.

⚙️ Ready Machines

See how many processing machines are ready to collect, helping you keep your production running efficiently.

👥 Social Reminders

Keep track of villagers you haven't talked to yet today.

Up to 4 villagers are listed individually, with additional villagers summarized if there are more.

🏡 Farm Scanning

Valley Morning scans multiple areas to build a more complete picture of your day:

• Main Farm
• Greenhouse
• Farmhouse
• Cellar
• Barns and other building interiors

This allows the briefing to cover more than just the main farm area.

Every briefing category can be enabled or disabled independently through config.json.
