ThinkingTime! Time only moves when you do, just like in SUPERHOT. Call it AFK protection, accessibility, cheating, or just a better way to think before you act.
Version 2.0 is rewritten from scratch for Stardew Valley 1.6+ and SMAPI 4+. Time flow is now based on the player’s actual animations, not held keys. If your farmer is moving, using a tool, eating, emoting, charging, jumping, or otherwise animating, time flows. When the farmer is truly idle, the valley pauses.
Features
- Animation-Based Time Control: Time pauses when your farmer is idle and resumes while the farmer is actively animating.
- Configurable Pause Delay: Add a delay in milliseconds before time pauses again after an animation ends.
- HUD Indicator: Shows a visual cue over the clock while time is paused.
- Safety First: Prevents player damage while paused.
- Frozen World Systems: Can freeze NPCs, monsters, farm animals, buff timers, and optional world animations.
- Customizable: Configure settings in Generic Mod Config Menu or edit config.json manually.
- Clock Mod Compatibility: No longer uses the old negative clock interval method, improving compatibility with mods like RealClock.

Installation
1. Install the latest version of SMAPI: https://smapi.io/
2. Optional: install Generic Mod Config Menu for in-game configuration.
3. Download and unzip the mod files.
4. Place the ThinkingTime folder into your Mods directory.
5. Run the game using SMAPI.
Notes
- Generic Mod Config Menu is optional.
- Mobile compatibility is not currently guaranteed for this rewrite.
