The Concept

In vanilla Stardew Valley, you wake up at 6:00 AM to a screen that is already fully bright. You miss the serene, misty atmosphere of the early morning.

Sunrise Transitions changes that.

When you wake up, the world is bathed in a stunning atmospheric glow that slowly fades away as the morning progresses. Whether it's the cold blue mist of Winter or the warm golden rays of Summer, this mod brings the start of your day to life.

Key Features

• Aesthetic Seasonal Presets (Included)
  The mod comes pre-configured with professional aesthetic profiles designed to match the mood of every season:
  • Spring: "Soft Peach" Dawn (Pastel Pink/Orange). A cozy, romantic start to the day.
  • Summer & Fall: "Golden Hour" Morning (Bright, Realistic Sunrays). Energetic and warm.
  • Winter: "Blue Hour" Mist (Cinematic Cyan/White). A crisp, cold, and fresh morning atmosphere.

• Full Customization
  Don't like the defaults? You have full RGB control. You can tweak the color, intensity, and duration for every season individually using the config menu.
• Dynamic Randomization
  Want every morning to feel unique? Enable Random Mode. The mod will randomly pick one of your seasonal presets based on your chosen frequency (Daily, Weekly, or Seasonally).* Example: Wake up to a rare, foggy "Winter-style" morning in the middle of Summer.
• Smooth Fading
  The effect starts at peak intensity when you wake up (6:00 AM) and slowly dissolves into the standard daylight over a duration you control (default is 3-4 hours).

Configuration
You can tweak every aspect of the morning using Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM).

1. Seasonal Profiles
The menu has separate sections for Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter.

• RGB Color: The exact color of the morning light.
• Start Intensity: How strong the glow is at 6:00 AM (Opacity 0-100%).
• Duration: How many minutes it takes for the glow to completely disappear (e.g., set to 180 mins to have clear skies by 9:00 AM).

2. Create Your Own
Want to make your own atmosphere? Here are the recipes for the default styles if you want to mix and match:

• Soft Peach (Spring Vibe)

• Blue Hour Mist (Winter Vibe)

Installation

• Install the latest version of SMAPI.
• Download Sunrise Transitions.
• Unzip the folder into your Stardew Valley/Mods folder.
• Run the game.

Optional: Install Generic Mod Config Menu to edit colors and timing in real-time.

Compatibility

• Compatible with Stardew Valley 1.6+
