Sunrise Furrow Coach

Description

Sunrise Furrow Coach is a SMAPI quality-of-life mod for players who want a clearer morning routine on the farm. It adds small daily rewards, harvest-time bonuses, and gentle reminders so you spend less time checking every tile and more time playing. Press F8 anytime for a compact furrow summary: season, farming level, luck, money, weather, crops, machines, and animals. Everything is optional and tunable in config.json—turn bonuses up, down, or off to match your preferred difficulty.

Installation instructions

1. Install SMAPI for Stardew Valley 1.6 (64-bit PC).
2. Download Sunrise Furrow Coach and unzip so the folder looks like:
   Stardew Valley/Mods/SunriseFurrowCoach/

   manifest.json

   SunriseFurrowCoach.dll

   config.json (optional; created on first run if missing)
3. Launch the game through SMAPI once. SMAPI will generate or update config.json in the mod folder.
4. Adjust settings in config.json if you want (see features below). Restart the game or use reload mods if you change values while in a save.

Updating: Replace SunriseFurrowCoach.dll and manifest.json with the new version; keep your config.json if you customized it.

Main features

Daily economy & progression

• Morning gold stipend (DailyGoldBonus) plus extra gold from farming level (DailyLevelStipend, capped at 5 levels).
• Bonus gold when you pick up crops (HarvestPickupBonus / HarvestGoldBonus).
• Small daily farming XP boost while under level 10 (FarmingXpMultiplier).

Reminders (start of day, configurable cap)

• Unwatered crop tiles (when it is not raining/storming).
• Crops ready to harvest.
• Machines with finished output.
• Animals that need petting or feeding.

F8 furrow summary (InfoKey, default F8)

• Season, day, farming level, daily luck, gold.
• Today’s and tomorrow’s weather (optional).
• Crop, machine, and animal status at a glance.

Other

• Season tips on the first day of each season (SeasonTips).
• Weekly energy & health refill every 7th day of the month (WeeklyEnergyRestore).
• Limit how many reminder HUD messages appear each morning (MaxDayStartMessages).

Requirements

Works on a new or existing save. Uninstall by removing the SunriseFurrowCoach folder from Mods.
