Phantom Guard allows you to channel your energy to summon a loyal, customizable Ghost ally. This isn't just a passive pet; it is a fully combat-capable bodyguard with smart AI that detects enemies across the map, protects you, and ensures you get all the loot and XP.

Features

Smart Combat AI: The Phantom doesn't wait for enemies to get close. It scans the entire map, flies directly to targets at high speed, and engages them automatically.

Full Loot & XP Credit: Unlike other summon mods, when the Phantom kills a monster, you get the XP, the loot drops, and credit for the Adventurer's Guild Monster Slayer goals.

Area Defense: The Phantom fights for you in the current location. It vanishes automatically when you leave the map (go down a ladder or warp) or when its duration expires.

Bodyguard Behavior: When no enemies are present, the Phantom hovers faithfully behind you.

Balanced Gameplay: Summoning requires Energy (Stamina), making it a tactical choice rather than a cheat.

Configuration (GMCM)

This mod is fully compatible with Generic Mod Config Menu. You can tweak almost every aspect of your ally to balance the game to your liking:

Ghost Stats: Customize Max HP, Attack Damage, and Attack Speed.
Tankiness: Adjust a "Damage Taken Multiplier" to make your ghost fragile or nearly invincible.
Duration: Set how long the summon lasts (Default: 90 seconds / ~2 in-game hours).
Cost: Adjust the Energy cost to summon.
Controls: Rebind the summon key (Default: 'V').

How to Use

Make sure you have enough Energy.
Press V (configurable).
A Phantom will appear behind you.
It will immediately hunt down any monsters in the current area.
The Phantom will vanish if you leave the map. You can simply summon a fresh one in the new area!

Installation

Install SMAPI.
(Optional but Recommended) Install Generic Mod Config Menu for in-game settings.
Unzip the PhantomGuard folder into your Stardew Valley/Mods folder.
Launch the game using SMAPI.
