This mod automatically sets Stardew Valley’s process priority when you launch the game through SMAPI.

Raising priority helps Stardew compete for CPU time, which can reduce:

  • brief stutters
  • hitching during spikes
  • input lag under heavy CPU load

The mod does exactly what the video shown by setting the game to high priority:




Configuration:

You can either set to Above Normal or High, under config.json.

Q. is this compatible with other mods?
A. Yes with all mods and safe to install/uninstall anytime.

Q. Does this work on Mac, Steam Deck...?
A. No, only works on Window.
