Moveable Mailbox

Converts the farm's mailbox into a moveable object that you can place anywhere on your farm.

It was suggested by a user of one of my mods that it would be nice to be able to move the farm's mailbox to somewhere else on the farm.

This mod removes the mailbox from the farm map and adds a moveable mailbox in its place. The new mailbox is a craftable object like any other, just remove it with a pickaxe and put it where ever you like. Waiting mail is not lost when you move the mailbox, but you won't be able to check your mail until you place it again.

You can craft and place multiple mailboxes, but only the last mailbox placed will be recognized as your mailbox.

Also, if you are using a custom farm texture for your farm, you can have this mod copy the mailbox from that texture, overwriting the default moveable mailbox texture. Just set CustomMailbox to true in the config.json. Hopefully this works as expected.

Requires SMAPI and JSON Assets, uses Harmony.
