Description
More Club Weapons
Add a little craftsmanship—and a lot more variety—to your trips into the mines. More Club Weapons brings seven custom canes, walking sticks, and staffs to Stardew Valley, each built on the game's familiar weapon system. Choose a quick dagger, a classic sword, or a hard-hitting club-style staff, then take Robin's handiwork into the mines, the Skull Cavern, or wherever your next adventure leads.
Recommended Edition: Content Patcher
The Content Patcher edition is the recommended and actively maintained version of More Club Weapons. It adds the weapons directly through Stardew Valley's data system and uses vanilla weapon behavior, so the weapons work like other in-game weapons and fit into the normal combat progression.
For this edition, install SMAPI and Content Patcher. It does not require Json Assets or Advanced Melee Framework. The older Json Assets and Advanced Melee Framework editions are legacy options and may be outdated or have compatibility issues. For new installations, use the Content Patcher edition.
The Weapons
Canes and Walking Sticks
- Classic Wooden Cane — A polished, hand-designed classic. This version uses the vanilla slashing-sword style, with 10–25 base damage.
- Maple Wood Cane — A fashionable maple cane that uses the quick dagger style, with 10–20 base damage.
- Eagle Head Cane — A solid brass eagle-head handle gives this cane a distinctive look. It also uses the dagger style, with 20–30 base damage.
- Hiking Stick — A red-pine walking stick made for long hikes and rougher trails. It keeps the broad club-style attack, with 15–30 base damage and a faster swing than a standard vanilla club.
Staffs
- Dragon Staff — A hardwood staff carved by hand. Its club-style attack deals 40–60 base damage and swings faster than a standard vanilla club.
- Ancient Staff — A carefully restored, old-world design. This club-style weapon deals 40–60 base damage, with a slower swing than the Dragon Staff in exchange for a more measured feel.
- Mystic Staff — A sturdy hemlock staff adorned with a crystal. It has the collection's highest damage range at 40–70 and the slowest swing among these staffs.
Weapon damage is shown as base damage; your character's combat bonuses and other game effects can change the damage dealt in play. All weapons use the vanilla combat system, with no custom projectile attacks.

Installation
- Install SMAPI.
- Install Content Patcher.
- Download and extract the Content Patcher edition into your Stardew Valley Mods folder.
- Launch the game through SMAPI and visit the shops listed above.
Important: Install only one edition of More Club Weapons at a time. Do not combine the Content Patcher edition with the older Json Assets or Advanced Melee Framework editions, since they add overlapping versions of the weapons.
Legacy Editions
The older Json Assets and Advanced Melee Framework editions remain available for players who specifically need the original implementations.
Development and compatibility work are focused on the Content Patcher edition, which is designed around Stardew Valley's vanilla weapon system and Content Patcher.
