This mod gives the player (somewhat lore-friendly) buffs based on who they are married to in-game.

To activate the buff, you need to kiss your spouse and the buff stays active for the day, acting as an incentive to interact with your spouse every day and keep them happy.

Buffs:
Alex : Max Energy +10%,
Elliott : +20% chance of a treasure chest while fishing,
Harvey : Max Health+10%,
Shane : Chicken-related items sell for +100%,
Abigail : +5 Attack,
Emily : All gems sell for +50%,
Haley : +5% chance to upgrade silver quality crops to gold quality when harvested,
Leah : +3 Wood whenever you fell a tree,
Maru : Farm machines work 5% faster,
Penny : +40% XP gained across all skills,
Sam : +1 Speed while in Pelican Town,
Sebastian : +1 Speed,+1 Attack, +1 Defense and +1 Luck after 8 PM
Krobus : Increase the selling price of monster drops by 200%

All of these numerical values are configurable in Generic Mod Configuration Menu.

This mod works with other mods which allow you to have multiple spouses, the buff is set for the latest spouse you have kissed.

Other prominent NPC mods buffs coming soon.

Feel free to suggest a different buff for your favorite spouse if you think it is not lore-friendly, or underpowered.

Installation :

Download latest mod file
e.g. "MarriagePartnerBuffs.zip"
Extract the contents of the mod file to your Stardew Valley mods folder
e.g. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\"
Launch Stardew Valley using SMAPI
