Overview

This is a content patcher based mod for Area of Effect that seven wands to the game:

Wand of Fireballs - shoots fireballs that explode in a large AOE, doing damage over time and destroying natural objects.

Wand of Ice - creates a field of ice at the target, freezing monsters and players alike.

Wand of Lightning - summons a lightning bolt that does heavy damage in a small AOE.

Ethereal Tool Wand - mimics ordinary tools in a large AOE.

Copper Wand - an entry level wand that can cast all spells at level one.

Silver Wand - a mid-level wand that can cast all spells at levels one and two.

Gold Wand - a high-level wand that can cast all spells at all three levels.

All wands can be purchased or upgraded to via the Wizard Book (requires Wizard Shop). The silver wand is an upgrade to the copper wand, and the gold wand is an upgrade to the silver wand.

The mod adds the following spells used as above:

Fireball - first level creates a small AOE, second level creates a medium sized AOE, third level shoots three projectiles and creates three large AOE explosions.

Ice Storm - creates increasingly large ice fields at each level.

Lightning Bolt - does increasing damage at each successive charge level.

Illuminate - lights up a successively larger area around a tile, character or player for each charge level.

Heal - heals all monsters and farmers caught up in the AOE; successively larger and greater healing per charge level.

Ethereal Axe - acts as a steel axe at level one, a gold axe at level two, and an iridium axe at level three.

Ethereal Pickaxe - acts as a steel pickaxe at level one, a gold pickaxe at level two, and an iridium pickaxe at level three.

Ethereal Hoe - acts as a steel hoe at level one, a gold hoe at level two, and an iridium hoe at level three.

Meteor Strike - creates an explosion at the target tile that gets larger at each charge level.

To charge a spell, just hold down the use tool button like you would for ordinary tools.

For wands that have multiple spells, you must draw the spell you wish to cast first, then cast it a second time. For directions on casting each spell, see the tutorials in-game using the Tutorials mod.
