Dynamic Monsters breathes new life into Stardew Valley combat by making enemies grow stronger alongside you. As your Combat Level increases, monsters gain health, damage, ensuring the mines remain a challenge from Day 1 to Year 10.

For Demo purpose, I maxed all stat of monsters, and they are looking bigger bc they are all elite monster now.. spawn chance 100%

Default setting is much lighter like 3% scaling, you can config.




Features

Level-Based Scaling

  • Monsters automatically gain increased Max Health, Damage based on your player's Combat Level.
  • By default, stats increase by 5% per level. At Combat Level 10, monsters are 50% stronger!
  • Fully configurable math: make the game as subtle or as brutal as you like.

Elite Monsters

  • There is a rare chance (configurable) for any monster to spawn as an Elite.
  • Elite monsters are larger, and possess significantly higher stats than standard enemies.
  • These serve as mini-bosses to keep you on your toes.

Dynamic Spawning

  • Optional Feature: Increase monster density based on your level.
  • Higher combat levels increase the chance for monsters to "clone" themselves upon spawning, creating larger swarms to fight through.

Location Control

  • You have full control over where this mod is active.
  • Toggle on/off specifically for: The Mines, Skull Cavern (Skeleton Cave), Volcano Dungeon, and Wilderness (Farm/Forest).

Configuration

This mod includes full support for Generic Mod Config Menu (GMCM). You can adjust everything in-game without restarting:

  • Stat multipliers per level.
  • Elite spawn chance and strength.
  • Extra spawn rates.
  • Active locations.
  • Debug Mode: Toggle this on to see exact HP, Damage values floating above every monster's head to verify the scaling.

 



Requirements

Installation

  • Install SMAPI.
  • Download this mod and unzip it into your Stardew Valley/Mods folder.
  • Run the game using SMAPI.
