Crab Pot Automator
Tired of clicking every crab pot, then re-baiting each one by hand? Crab Pot Automator does it for you. Just walk (or ride) near your crab pots and the mod automatically collects the catch and drops in a fresh piece of bait from your inventory.

Features
Auto-harvest — collects the catch from any of your ready crab pots as you pass by.
Auto-rebait — refills emptied pots using Bait or Deluxe Bait from your inventory.
Bait preferences — choose which bait types to use and whether to prefer Deluxe Bait.
Works on horseback — fast scanning keeps up even while galloping past your pots.
Multiplayer-safe — only touches crab pots you placed; other players' pots are left alone.
Toggle key — press a key (default N) to turn automation on/off, so you can freely pick up pots without the mod re-baiting them.
Faithful mechanics — grants Fishing XP, records catches for stats/achievements, and supports the Art o' Crabbing book's bonus, just like collecting manually.

Requirements
Stardew Valley 1.6 or later
SMAPI 4.0.0 or later

Installation
Install SMAPI.
Download this mod and unzip it into your Stardew Valley/Mods folder.
Run the game using SMAPI.

Multiplayer

Fully compatible. Each player who wants automation installs the mod themselves; it only affects your own crab pots, whether you're the host or a farmhand. The host does not need the mod installed.

Notes

A crab pot becomes "yours" once you bait it. If you have older pots that were never baited, bait one manually to claim it, then automation takes over.

Configuration
A config.json file is generated in the mod folder after running the game once. Options include:
