Path Of Dew: RPG Expert is a harder version of Path Of Dew: RPG, built around character builds, stat based growth, dangerous combat, expert balancing, and exploration.

This version includes the same content as the main Path Of Dew: RPG modpack, but rebalances the experience around slower progression, tougher resource management, harder combat, and long-term planning using Dew Expert Ruleset and other custom balance changes.

This Expert version is powered by Dew Expert Ruleset, a custom ruleset made for the Dew modpacks to make progression slower, harder, and more resource-focused.

Stardew RPG – Full Character Overhaul
Adds Strength, Constitution, Dexterity, Intelligence, Wisdom, and Charisma. Level up, assign skill points manually, shape your own build, and meet skill requirements for tools and weapons.

Expert Community Center Bundles
Community Center bundles have been heavily reworked with much higher item requirements and additional items added to many bundles.

Stronger Monsters & RPG Combat
Monster health and attack values have been increased, making combat more dangerous. Combined with stat-based scaling and Archery support, character builds matter even more.

Harder Building Progression
Coops, barns, sheds, fish ponds, silos, obelisks, the Gold Clock, home renovations, and other major upgrades require more gold and more materials.

Massive Open World Region
Explore a gigantic region beyond the quarry filled with forests, lakes, ores, forage, treasure, and monsters. The farther north you travel, the greater the risk and the loot.

Expanded RPG Systems & Activities
Improved quest board, restaurant gameplay, meteor defense events, and additional world interactions reinforce the RPG feel.

Custom Balance Changes
Many prices, rewards, shops, and progression systems from other mods have also been adjusted to better fit this Expert version.

Notes

Permadeath is disabled by default.
Most features are configurable via GMCM.

Stardew RPG Quick Start Guide

You start with all stats at 9 and 20 points to distribute.
Open the Skills menu to assign stat and skill points when you level up.
All experience goes into one main character level.
Leveling up gives more health and stamina and skill points to spend.
Health and stamina regenerate slowly over time, and Constitution increases regeneration.
Strength improves mining and hammer damage.
Constitution improves health, stamina, and sword combat.
Dexterity improves ranged and dagger builds.
Intelligence and Wisdom improve crafting, crops, and experience gain.
Charisma improves prices and friendship rewards.
Upgraded tools and stronger weapons require proper skill levels.
Stardrops give 3 extra stat points instead of stamina.
