Fields of Hoagie Expert

Fields of Hoagie Expert is an expert-mode reimagining of A World Of Dew, built for players who already know Stardew Valley and want a longer, tougher, progression-driven experience. This pack keeps the cozy worldbuilding of the original, but tightens progression everywhere: fewer shortcuts, higher prices, slower machines, stronger monsters, and a rebalanced Skull Cavern.

If you wished A World Of Dew pushed back harder, this is the version for you.

⭐ Built on A World Of Dew, but tuned for expert play

The pack keeps the atmosphere and flavor of the original (replicas, cooking packs, cosmetics, world content), while reshaping the game’s core progression:

Powered by Dew Expert Ruleset:

• Harder Community Center bundles (normal bundles only, not remixed)
• Scalable monster HP/ATK
• Dynamic building/renovation/material costs
• Everything is tuned for a more demanding long-term run.

🛠️ Designed progression, not convenience

Several convenience/QoL mods are intentionally excluded to preserve tension and meaningful routing:

• No Mini Obelisk, Horse Flute Anywhere, Polycarts, Tractor Mod, Chest Anywhere, Automate, Quality Bait, Crystalline Junimo Chest, Romantic Revenue, Train Info, and more.
• Travel, storage, planning, energy, and money all matter again, by design.

⚔️ Added challenge, exploration, and late-game goals

To replace the removed shortcuts, the pack adds content that enhances gameplay depth, not convenience:

• Boss Creatures for harder combat and surprise encounters
• My own expert/hard-mode balance mods (machines, replicas, rulesets)
• Expansion mods for new areas and exploration
• A full suite of OriyadoLcat Fashion Sense clothing packs for customization
• Numerous config tweaks across all included mods to increase cost, time, and progression weight

📈 Global balance changes

Progression across the entire game has been rebalanced to make upgrades meaningful and late-game goals actually feel earned. Prices are higher, requirements are stricter, production is slower, and many systems that were previously “too easy” now demand real planning. Even Skull Cavern progression has been tuned for multi-day runs instead of quick dives.

• Requires normal (non-remixed) Community Center bundles.
• Co-op may work, but balance is tuned for single-player progression.
