With the arrival of the new expansion pack I wanted sims to be able to make, use or sell soap bars. I was so inspired by the different designs online!
These are the soap bars your sim will be able to make depending on their skill level and the essential oils they have in their inventory.
Your sim can 'Research Soap Making Techniques'. This interaction will give them the soap making bowl they need to make their first soap bars.
The bowl can also be found in small kitchen appliances. Initially, your sim will only be given the option to 'Leave Unscented', but as your sim progresses in the Soap Making Skill, they will be able to add fragrances and create more interesting designs.
Sims can purchase 'Essential Oils' easily via the computer. If they have a coupon, they will get a discount like with other things purchased online. This 'discount' feature is part of For Rent -I think- and it doesn't affect you if you don't own this pack.
Obviously sims are required to have the essential oils to make soap with fragrances. Each batch gives you about 7 soap bars.
When your sims take a shower or a bath, they can click on their soap bars and they'll get a buff, which I will leave for you to discover. Each soap bar has 15 uses.
You could also sell your soap bars on Plopsy if you own 'Nifty Knitting', or at a small business if you own 'Businesses and Hobbies'. You can also gift them to other sims. Who doesn't love soap?
If a soap bar has been used even once, your sim won't be able to sell it on Plopsy because ew.

- And the 'Island Living Expansion Pack'.
- Please make sure to place the bowl at the center of the counter, or the options won't appear.
