The Proposal Planner mod by DANITYSIMMER is a gameplay and scripting mod designed to restructure the marriage proposal mechanics in The Sims 4, transforming it from a simple, immediate social interaction into a comprehensive, planned event. Its core functionality lies in introducing a structured workflow through a custom phone interface and context menus, allowing Sims in romantic relationships to manage the logistics leading up to the proposal. This includes exploring and selecting locations via rabbit hole events, the optional purchase of engagement rings integrated with expansion packs such as Crystal Creations, sending individual invitations to Sims they know to assign them a specific “guest” relationship bit, and the ability to hire a professional NPC planner for service fees and on-site consultations.
