Private Practice by SimRealist 🩺

This mod for The Sims 4 overhauls the health system, allowing Sims’ health management in a customized clinic. Requires a lot with the Private Practice Lot Trait (non-residential, preferably Generic). Sims access MyHealthPortal on the phone to schedule checkups or emergency appointments, like heart attack surgeries. Features an allergy system (e.g., Newcrest cypress, Chestnut Ridge grass) and illnesses (cold, flu, infections, norovirus, mononucleosis) with realistic symptoms and treatments like medications (via Capsule Kiosk, computers, or pillboxes) or home remedies. Appointments involve check-in, urinalysis, weight/blood pressure checks, and nurse consultations. Sims with standard jobs get free checkups and 80% off sick visits; a Free Healthcare cheat removes appointment costs. Includes narrative social interactions and a herd immunity system for NPCs. Also adds an investment Mortem Plaque for weekly dividend income.

Requirements:

• The Sims 4 base game with the Get to Work expansion.
• Cats & Dogs (optional, for full functionality).
• Game version: 1.116 or higher.
