The main gameplay content of the Healthcare Module includes allergies, chronic diseases, sports injuries, and complications before and after pregnancy. It also introduces many new diseases and infectious diseases, as well as some conditions that could lead to the death of Sims. For more detailed information about the diseases, please visit the author's main page.
🔸自然免疫系統等級 / Natural immune system level🔸
After loading the mod, each Sim in the household will automatically receive a randomly assigned natural immune system level. Weak, normal, and strong immune system statuses will be visible. These immune system traits can affect how quickly Sims become sick and how long the illnesses last. Cheats can be used to modify the automatic allocation.
🔸新疾病 / New Disease🔸
- New deadly diseases: bacterial meningitis and tuberculosis. Please note that there is no vaccine for malaria. Taking malaria pills or using medications are the only ways to fight the disease.
- New contagious viral and bacterial illnesses: bacterial sinusitis, bronchitis (only as a complication of colds), colds, ear infections (only in young children), gastroenteritis/stomach flu, malaria, and tonsillitis.
- Added the ability for kids to get head lice from school, which requires multiple shampoo treatments in the shower. Additionally, you can add a trait to your pets (cats, dogs, and horses) to make them hypoallergenic, so that even if you are allergic to animal dander, your Sims won't be affected by a pet with that trait.
🔸慢性病 / Chronic Disease🔸
- New chronic conditions: anemia, anxiety, asthma, arthritis (adults/elderly), eczema, insomnia, migraines, seasonal affective disorder, kidney disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, flat head (infants/toddlers), and hearing loss.
- New allergies: bee stings, pet dander, and general/seasonal allergies.
🔸意外、受傷和醫療緊急情況 / Accidents, Injuries and Medical Emergencies🔸
- New injuries: Random childhood injuries and sports injuries. The sprained ankle from CL has been edited to behave more like the ankle in SE. Currently, you do not need to see a doctor to treat these injuries, but they have the potential to become serious and may require a cast or surgery, which would necessitate a doctor's appointment.
- Complications requiring surgery: Appendicitis (random), tonsillectomy (as a complication of severe tonsillitis), and severe injuries.
- Medical emergencies: There is a small chance of a medical emergency, including postpartum hemorrhage, heart attack, aneurysm, choking or anaphylaxis from an allergic bee sting, and car accidents or plane crashes.
🔸懷孕相關病症和醫療保健 / Pregnancy-related conditions and healthcare🔸
Includes prenatal care, pregnancy-related complications/conditions (such as preeclampsia, pregnancy-related anemia, and gestational diabetes), and prenatal vitamins to aid fetal development and reduce the chance of complications. If your Sim experiences pregnancy complications, there is an increased risk of induced labor and/or C-section. All new parent Sims have a chance to experience postpartum depression, which can lead to severe consequences in some cases. There is also a small chance of postpartum hemorrhage, which can be fatal, so it should be taken seriously.
🔸健康保險 / Health Insurance🔸
There are currently four insurance plans available. Sims can also opt out of insurance and choose to pay the bill themselves. Sims who lose their jobs have 36 hours to find new employment before losing their insurance. When Sims start a new job, they will receive the best insurance available for the household.

- Added "Discuss Health" interaction.
🔸作弊選單 / Cheat Menu🔸(人物>動作選單裡)
A new cheat option has been added that allows you to set which Sims will not die from diseases or accidents in this module. If you prefer that no Sims die from this mod, simply install the death-disable folder.
