Globe Trotter is a new travelling and explorer‑focused Aspiration for us players who love discovering new worlds. Your Sim will take on iconic activities across multiple destinations — camping in Granite Falls, diving in Sulani, climbing Mt. Komorebi, and exploring the jungle in Selvadorada.

Each level ends with a clear world‑specific milestone, giving the aspiration a structured challenge and a satisfying sense of progression.

To enrich the journey, the mod also adds Travel Journal Notes, new Buffs, over 20 new Whims, a unique Reward Trait, and plenty of small details to bring your Sim’s adventures to life. I truly hope you enjoy this mod as much as I do! 💖

Aspiration Levels & Goals

🏕️ Forest Explorer

• Travel to Granite Falls, enjoy a camping adventure, and host a Weenie Roast event with at least a Bronze medal.

🏝️ Island Explorer

• Travel to Sulani, dive into an island adventure, search for treasures, and host a Kava Party with a minimum Silver medal.

🏔️ Mountain Explorer

• Travel to Mt. Komorebi, purchase Climbing Gear, and start leveling your climbing skill. When you’re ready, host a Mountain Excursion and try to reach the summit.

🐍 Jungle Explorer

• Travel to Selvadorada, learn about the jungle from the locals, prepare your gear, and venture into the jungle to find the correct path to the Temple.

✍️ Travel Journal Notes

After completing each level, your Sim will receive a short Travel Journal Notification— a little reflection on the adventure they just experienced. These notes vary depending on the Sim and are unique for each level, adding a sense of storytelling to their journey.

💭 Custom Whims & Icons

This mod adds over 20 new world‑specific aspiration whims that appear as your Sim explores different destinations. Each whim is tailored to the world your Sim is currently in, helping guide their adventure and naturally push your gameplay forward.

I’ve also created a set of new custom whim icons to match the style of the game and give the aspiration a fresh, cohesive look. (See preview images below!)

💸 Reward Trait: Expedition Saver

When your Sim completes the aspiration, they’ll earn the Expedition Saver reward trait. This trait gives them a discount when purchasing Adventure Gear from the computer (Snowy Escape items), and—if you have my mod Purchase Adventure Supplies installed—also from the expanded Purchase Adventure Supplies with items from multiple packs.
