Then they bake a whole tray of cookies, pull it out of a blazing hot oven, and just… grab the pan with their bare hands..

Excuse me?? Where are the oven mitts? Where’s the realism? Where’s the drama of almost burning your fingertips over brownies?

That’s why Tinycoffeecups made this mod: a small but much-needed realism detail that lets your Sims actually wear oven mitts/gloves while baking. It’s simple, cute, practical, and honestly something the game should’ve had already.

✦ What this mod does:

This mod adds wearable oven mitts/gloves for Sims who bake. Click the oven mitts, choose a style, and your Sim will put them on before handling hot food. ( I suggest as they wait for the food in the oven to put them on!) To change into a different mitten simply remove the ones your sim is using and apply a different one! For realistic gameplay, pick the mittens in Buy Mode you know your sim likes and choose for them to wear those!

✦ Qué hace este mod:

Este mod añade guantes de cocina para los Sims que hornean. Haz clic en los guantes, elige un estilo y tu Sim se los pondrá antes de manipular comida caliente. (¡Se recomienda que se los ponga mientras espera a que la comida esté en el horno!). Para cambiar de guantes, simplemente quítale los que lleva puestos y ponte otros. Para una experiencia de juego más realista, elige en el modo Comprar los guantes que sabes que le gustan a tu Sim y haz que los use.

Para mayor realismo, existe un complemento opcional que otorga a los Sims el efecto de quemaduras de primer grado solo si hornean sin usar guantes de cocina.

• Si quieres consecuencias en la cocina, añádelo.
