A mod that adds a new "Challenge-Junkie" personality trait (Teen and older) and a companion "Self-Made Titan" aspiration, designed for Sims who choose the hard road to success on purpose.
🌸 Mod Contents:
- Challenge-Junkie trait: resets household funds to 0 the first time it's added (only if the Sim lives alone, and only once); skills level 0.5x slower; relationships increase 0.5x slower; satisfaction points and job performance progress are multiplied by 0.5; selling objects gives only 0.5x the usual value
- Two alternative traits (only one can be equipped): Challenge-Junkie (Easy) (0.75 multiplier) and Challenge-Junkie (Hard) (0.25 multiplier)
- New interactions: Boast About No-Shortcut Achievements and Complain About the Daily Grind (on Sims), Practice Mental Toughness (on mirrors), Research Hardcore Strategies (on computers/tablets/phones); available to Sims with the trait or the active aspiration
- Random 2-hour moodlets (positive or negative) from using the interactions, leveling up a skill, getting a promotion, or losing a job
- Self-Made Titan Aspiration (Knowledge category): 4 levels with 4 goals each — The Grind Begins, The Steep Incline, Trial by Fire, Self-Made Legend; final reward: "Indomitable Mind" reward trait (negative moodlets decay 20% faster)
- Recommended to use the trait and aspiration together, though the aspiration works without the trait
