Broken lanterns hang from the beams, and faint light seeps through cracked windows — a flicker, then gone.
The air smells of salt, smoke, and something older… something that lingers.

Around it, smaller cabins crouch like watchful eyes, half-swallowed by the forest.
By day, it looks almost peaceful —
but when night falls, the house seems to breathe.
The walls whisper. The floor remembers.
And the pines… never sleep.
