The plan was to use collectibles and such that I didn't in the one for Willow Creek, which would make it mostly space themed. That meant a jungle gym and a rocket ship just had to included, and the former was what inspired the second itineration of the build, which looked like a bad version of the space ship before it was completely scrapped. On my third try, which mixed the L-shaped of the first attempt and elements of the second, I made a bigger effort to match the build with their eye-catching swatches, while also ensuring there was a space for both of them. Even then, it still took a while to warm up to the museum.

Interior-wise, the glass roof of the second floor forced me to close up the floor plan, as they sat a little higher than the actual ceiling (if only there was a flat roof). Contrary to what one would believe, the limitation they imposed actually facilitated the layout! After that was settled, I knew I wanted the big space rock upstairs, but I had no idea what to do on the main space below, so I gave me more time to think by decorating the smaller rooms instead. Although a café seemed a good idea, it was too boring with just base game and weakened the build's theme, which lacked anything museum-worthy on the entire floor. I looked for inspiration in real life museums and MASP came to rescue with its glass display easels. Honestly, I never thought I would glass walls as much as I do, but they're just extremely versatile and look amazing.

As I wrote on another build description, I was thinking about renaming the clutterless version and I finally did it! At first, I thought declutting was enough, but I kept wanting to push it further, and seeing a post from Little Red Riding Sim was the tipping point by making me realize it's more important to simplify the build as a whole; not just to make it lighter, but also to reduce the chance of a corruption.
