Miner Mansion Redeux

Info: In an act of desperation more than kindness, the city of Evergreen Harbor built the Harris family a new home - three bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and it started increasing nearby property values immediately after the construction equipment left the neighborhood.

USES GALLERY CONTENT: The overall shape of this home is provided by the "Simsie Welcome Shell" lot, found on the Sims 4 Gallery, searching that title by author "LilSimsie". Kayla obviously built this with the idea of people using it for her channel, and now that it's long over and this lot is becoming vintage, I figured I'd share it here. Thanks Kayla as always for the shell!

Floorplan - bedrooms: 3, 1 primary, 2 secondary, all on the first floor.
- common areas: The ground floor is expansive and gives plenty of room to spread out. The front entry has a side exit to the terrace and lido deck, which encourage more outdoor living. The first floor wrap-around deck also doesn't hurt.

Interior features: The home is all post-consumer manufactured and made lovingly in Quirky ol' Evergreen Harbor. Really, the City felt so bad for the Harris family that they all chipped in and built them this out of remnant quarry stone, old upcycled wood, and 3D printed stuff. I'm pretty sure I saw someone pull the fridge out of the dumpster and fix it - which was really awesome.

Exterior features: Just as it is inside, the outside too is made of upcycled wood, off-cut quarry stone, and native Evergreen Harbor plants. The side terrace features a rear exit and a pool, plus plenty of space for gardening and other outdoor activities - such as fizzing things. The home has a black/white split personality across a variety of textures including stone, metal and wood - and is splayed across two stories. it includes an attached carport and awning over the entry.

Three SimPrime favorite things about this home:
- The post-modern yuppie look really suits Grims Quarry, which was why the city chipped in. They just didn't want to look at that eyesore anymore.
- Neighborhood value just increased tenfold with this fantastic ultra-modern and ultra-eco property
- The first floor hall bathroom is so simple, yet so natural. I'd want to spend all my time there.

ETC: Keeping with the "Evergreen Harbor is basically Portland" theme, here's one more entry to my CurseForge project list - I swear I'm not rebuilding that town on purpose.. The Harris house was an especially awful default lot (my apologies to the poor EA intern that had to make it) that had nothing to do with this town, and it deserved to be razed in a street riot. This new house which I made during the "Simsie Welcome Shell" period last year really became a character to me in its own right. Thanks Kayla for the shell, this one was especially versatile and I had a few versions that I toyed around with. This was always my favorite. I hope CurseForge can enjoy it too.
